Cocles travel guide and discussion

Costa Rica 🇨🇷🌊 Start in Tortuguero – canoe through rainforest canals to see caimans, monkeys, and sea turtles (nesting July–October). Travel to Puerto Viejo – relax on Playa Cocles, surf at Salsa Brava, and visit the Jaguar Rescue Center. End in Cahuita National Park – hike the flat coastal trail past sloths and raccoons to coral reef snorkeling. Tips: Best months September–October for turtles, December–April for dry beaches. Rent a 4x4 or take shared shuttles. Try caribbean rice and beans (with coconut milk). Learn "Con gusto" (you're welcome). Pack biodegradable sunscreen – oxybenzone is banned. Bring rain boots for Tortuguero – trails get muddy. Book turtle tours locally (5 suggested). The reef has strong currents – snorkel only with a guide (1). Pura vida

#fallingseason Much of Central America is covered in lush and humid rainforests. A popular way to see these is to take a canopy tour, where you’ll be suspended on a zip-line and glide over the tops of the trees. The rainforests are filled with howler monkeys, jaguars, lizards, tropical birds, and so much more. Check out Costa Rica’s Volcán Arenal or La Fortuna Zip lines for breathtaking scenic views. Or Guatemala’s Atitlán canopy tours, where you can zip right over the stunning blue lake below. Honduras’s remote paradise Roatán Island offers incredible zip line views of its perfect crystal coast before sunning on the beach too. Expect to pay $40-65 USD. #freehotelstay. #fallingseason. #placetosee #stunningbeach #londontrip #beachparty #boracaytrip #bangkoktrip #beijingtrip #tokyotrip #shenzhentrip #sanyatrip #newyortrip ¹#hangzhoutrip #beachlovers #topbeach #placetovisit #bestbeach #travel #perfectbeach #localescapes #singaporetrip #helloautumn #triptravelguide #triptravel #beachvacation #hotelstaycation

jaguar rescue centre in Costa Rica is well worth a visit! I was dubious that it would be like a zoo but definitely not. staff/volunteers are obviously very dedicated to helping these rescued animals. many are released into the wild but some are not able to survive in the wild so stay in the centre. these are the animals you can see on a tour.
