Cancale, Brittany, France
Cancale is located on the south coast of the English Channel. It is a town in the Ille-Vilaine department of Brittany in northwestern France. It is the birthplace of the Catholic saint Jeanne Jugend.
Cancale is located on the coast east of Saint-Malo. It's a picturesque fishing port popular with tourists, many of whom are attracted by Brittany's reputation as the "oyster capital". Although it is a small town, it has a wide range of restaurants, many of which specialize in seafood.
If you like seafood, this place is definitely not to be missed. It is fresh and the price is affordable. Even in Marseille in southern France, much of the seafood comes from this sea.
When you’re not eating, sit back and watch the hustle and bustle of this busy town, with its many stalls selling a variety of crustaceans.
There is a pleasant coastal path that leads in a circle from the town to Cape Grauin, where, on clear days, you can enjoy views of Mont Saint-Michel across the bay. #Overseas Travel #European Travel #English Channel #European Travel #France #France Travel #France Travel #Island Holiday #Sea View
