Zaab is a fusion restaurant that hits your cravings for both Asian food and western food at once! Located in the heart of Canberra, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with neon signs and cool Asian graffiti. The food was truly unique! We had the duck confit with curry, eggplant, betel leaves, corn fritters and black pudding. All were very delicious, especially the appetisers and desserts. Definitely worth the money! I stayed in Braddon. i liked walking to Northbourne Ave to try many kinds of food and do some shops. The weather is great not too cold when I went there in September. I also enjoy walking to Haig Park. The area is more of a place to relax, picnic, exercise or walk the dog. Enjoy nature and fresh air. This hotel has received a few negative reviews recently, and I can't understand why. It's an excellent place to stay with all the essentials you could ask for. Sure, the rooms may feel a bit old-fashioned, but this doesn’t affect the experience in a bad way. Don’t let the critics discourage you! We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment, which was fantastic. It included 2 bathrooms, a washing machine and dryer, a dining table, a microwave, a full fridge plus a mini fridge, a lounge suite/sofa bed, and both a king and queen bed. The room was cleaned daily, and the housekeeping team was very accommodating to our needs (e.g., leaving the bed unmade or providing an extra towel). The buffet breakfast was generous and tasty. While it’s not a fancy 5-star dining affair, it offered all the usual breakfast staples and was a pleasant way to start the day. We left feeling full every morning! The parking garage entrance and exit are a bit tight—but, as long as you take it slow, there’s no problem. Overall, we found the Mantra on Northbourne an excellent place to stay, with a fantastic location surrounded by plenty of shops and dining options. We would gladly come back without hesitation.

I arrived at a Superior king room around 7 pm and was feeling a bit hungry. Due to work obligations, I needed to head back to the room and couldn’t place a room service order online. Unfortunately, the phone was not functioning, so I had to return to reception. They attempted to resolve the issue but were unsuccessful, so I had to switch rooms. They upgraded me to a one-bedroom apartment immediately and were extremely pleasant. Excellent service and superb rooms. The restaurant food is outstanding too. I'll always choose this place when visiting Canberra.

We spent four nights in the Superior King Room on our recent trip to Canberra. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to various restaurants and pubs. Our room was spacious and featured a balcony that overlooked the courtyard between Tower One and Tower Two. It was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We opted for the buffet breakfast at a special rate and were pleased with the selection available. The room's mini bar is stocked with drinks and snacks. If you plan on bringing your own, I suggest requesting the reception to deactivate the mini bar, allowing you to remove a shelf of drinks without getting charged and use the space for your own items. The hotel also offers a deal where you can skip daily servicing in return for a $10 voucher at Marble & Grain. Our room package included parking, which was fantastic. We would consider staying here again when in Canberra.

You can have Uber Eats delivered straight to your door when you prefer to stay in.

We were thrilled with our stay at these newly opened apartments in a very convenient central spot. Our unit featured two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a charming balcony area with outdoor seating. It offered a full kitchen equipped with plenty of utensils and cookware for meals, along with some useful basics in the cupboard (like salt, pepper, olive oil, and foil). We enjoyed a beautiful view of Mount Ainslie, had a guaranteed spot in secure undercover parking, and were just one block from the Canberra Centre shopping mall. The beds were comfortable, and the apartment was tastefully decorated. Laundry facilities are available for longer stays. Service from Monde, our Urban Rest contact, was superb—he met us on our arrival, handed us the keys along with parking instructions, and escorted us to the apartment. He even turned on the heating before we got there, so it was warm and welcoming.

this is probably the best attraction in the whole of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) with spectacular view of the city. try to just before sunset to enjoy beautiful views of the city. drive this is traffic free, may spot some animals too. good date night spot too or just chill out. there are some nice spots to look out for. Airport, Parliament house, and maybe Coles.

Cuddly and I had a wonderful time at the Mercure Hotel in Canberra. Amazing food- we had the auntie’s porridge, which was wonderful and topped with warm sweet oatmilk, flavorful jam, soft oats, and tangy skyr; the banana bread with peanut butter; and the super bowl, which was sweet and lovely texture-wise due to the granola and nuts. We walked 20 minutes and I’m not going to lie , when we got here I was little skeptical about the food specially with their tiny menu but turned to be an amazing choice and this was the best eggs I ever had . I have visited this cafe lot of times. They serve very tasty bagels along with vegan and vegetarian options. We visited recently on a Sunday morning , it was not that crowded. We ordered a cappuccino and latte macchiato along with two vegan bagels. Bagels tasted great. The service was very good, the coffee excellent and the cheesecake is highly recommended. The ambiance is really nice, we got served as soon as we had our table. They have a limited menu. I didn’t have to wait long for the food, however the portions did feel small. We ordered Turkish eggs, a cheese and tomato croissant, mud cake and two coffees. The Turkish eggs were good. Coffee not bad. Croissant was served warm but cheese not fully melted. The shop is quite small and bustling. Don’t know about weekdays but it sure was packed with on a weekend. Had the Bully Beef which was like a Reuben - bread is toasted to perfection, crunchy on the outside. Generous amounts of corned beef that pair amazingly with the cheese and pickles. My friend had a cheese toastie (I forget the name) but it was fully loaded with cheesy goodness and potato bites (maybe potato, not 100% sure). Regardless, also delicious.
