The Xie Village Xingguo Temple Pagoda is located within the grounds of Xie Village Primary School in Chengwei Town, Boye County, Baoding City. It is a solid stone pagoda from the Tang Dynasty, built in the fourth year of the Jinglong era (710 AD), with a construction period similar to that of the Small Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an. The pagoda was originally a structure within Xingguo Temple, but the temple has since been destroyed, leaving only this pagoda. The Xie Village Xingguo Temple Pagoda is a square, 15-tier dense-eave pagoda divided into three parts: the base, the body, and the finial. The body contains a central chamber. The first level of the body is composed of three stone blocks joined together, while the eaves from the second to the 15th levels are all stone-carved corbelled eaves. The entire pagoda is carved from white marble, with each level and each eave section consisting of a single stone block stacked on top of one another. The finial is a stone-carved pearl. The Xie Village Xingguo Temple Pagoda features a beautiful, upright shape with delicate, soaring eaves and exquisite carvings. It integrates architecture and art, holding significant reference value for the study of Tang Dynasty architectural styles. It is a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level.
