Sapu sacred mountain is an almost isolated snow mountain located in Biru County, Nagqu City, Tibet, with a main peak elevation of 6,956 meters. Its most distinctive feature is its shape—a classic pyramid. The snow lines are clean and sharp, and like Mount Kailash, it is a sacred mountain with a strong geometric presence. But because it is so remote and difficult to reach, very few people know about it, making it even more mysterious than Mount Everest. Sapu sacred mountain has five main highlights: 1. Sapu main peak pyramid The main peak of Sapu is a classic pyramid-shaped snow mountain, appearing as a perfect isosceles triangle from any angle. Above the snow line is pure white snow cover, below the snow line are dark gray rock walls, and the sharp peak shines like gold in the sunlight. This is the mountain in China that most resembles Mount Kailash, but it is even harder to reach. 2. Sapu glacier and Samuco ice lake At the foot of the Sapu main peak is an ice lake formed by a glacier—Samuco. The lake water comes from glacier melt, deep blue to nearly black, with the Sapu pyramid main peak reflected in the lake.
