One of the highlights is walking around the Monterreal Peninsula and its fortress, with the sea on one side and Baiona on the other. The marina and old town are also perfect for a relaxed walk, especially towards sunset. What I liked most was the combination of history, coastal scenery and that unmistakable Galician atmosphere. Very close to San Sebastian. The town is beautiful, with a river running through it. There's a festival in July with many bullfights and celebrations. It's also close to the beach, making it a great choice for surfing, camping, or city strolls. The air is fresh and the prices are affordable.
