Day 1: Safari welcome to Tarangire National Park (2850 square km), one of the most famous homes for the wild animals especially elephants. it houses other animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, waterbuck, giraffe, impala, eland, gazelle etc. we were told that the fierce predators such as in lion, leopard, & cheetah are common here, but unfortunately during our 8hrs tours, none of them were anywhere in sight. we were quite disappointed but hoping to spot them tomorrow our guide told us that elephant drinks up to 50gallons (200lit) per day! wowww thats just like a lake to me to finish. we had soo much fun here #safari #nationalpark

Yusuph is well-organized, responsible, knowledgeable, patient, and fluent in the Hadzabe language. Knowing them since childhood, he made our experience special, and we shared so many laughs together. From the moment we saw him by chance in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro, the kids adored him. We only later learned he also offers safari tours—next time, we’ll definitely choose him for that too! Meeting the Hadzabe felt unreal at first, but within minutes, we were sitting with people of all ages—children, teens, and adults—on the rocks, sharing their lives. Watching them hunt, make fire for birds, and seeing even the kids help provide food amazed us. For a side note, Baobab fruits are incredibly tasty! Back in their community, it felt so natural to sit on the rocks, and we were even invited to dance—it was an incredible experience! The visit to the Datoga tribe was equally fascinating. We observed how they craft arrowheads for the Hadzabe, build traditional houses that are cool and waterproof, and grind corn flour on stone mills. Their Ugali and beautiful jewelry impressed us deeply. We were so enthralled that we forgot to ask questions! Thanks to Yusuph, who made everything feel organic and genuine, we learned so much and felt like a part of the community. The kids were thrilled by the entire experience. We booked the 7-day Wildlife and Culture Tour for our group of seven friends, and it surpassed every expectation. Beginning in Arusha, we headed straight to Tarangire National Park, where stunning baobab trees and large elephant herds set the tone for the adventure. Lake Manyara followed, showcasing its beautiful groundwater forest and unique tree-climbing lions. Our driver guide was patient, well-informed, and genuinely passionate. The lodges were cozy yet simple. Seven friends, zero complaints, endless memories. Lake Eyasi added a surprising layer of depth to the experience, and spending time with the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers completely reshaped our perspective on the trip.

Two days, two parks, and the incredible wildlife of Tanzania made for a wonderful experience. Traveling with kids can be challenging, but our guide and the Issenye team made it surprisingly easy. He kept the kids engaged with fun facts and games during the long journey. Tarangire impressed us with its majestic baobab trees and elephant herds lining the road. The next day, descending into the Ngorongoro Crater felt like stepping into a lost world filled with wildlife. For those short on time but seeking maximum wildlife exposure, this combo is absolutely worth it.

We went on a 9-day safari visiting Arusha Park with a walking safari, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Tarangire. Our guide Luca, young and highly knowledgeable about roads, animals, sighting spots, and Jeep management, as well as being very friendly, made this an unforgettable experience for us. Thanks to his expertise and the organization by Magilani Safaris, we got to see the Big Five up close, a lion hunting, and the thrilling crossing of the Mara River by the wildebeests! The accommodations were top-notch, as were the meals, with delicious picnic lunches and hearty dinners. The support from Elisabetta during the safari planning also ensured we arrived well-prepared with a perfectly organized itinerary. I went on a 4-day safari with three friends through Ngorongoro, Serengeti, and Tarangire, and it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had! Our driver was really kind and talked with us a lot. Over the four days, he felt more like a friend than just our driver. He also told plenty of jokes, so we were constantly laughing and having a great time. We had three other guests on our safari: one guy from China and an Australian couple. We quickly became friends and spent our evenings playing cards together, which was always a lot of fun. As a group, we were lucky enough to spot all of the Big Five! The highlight for me, though, was seeing three leopards, which was undoubtedly the most amazing moment of the entire trip. The food was absolutely delicious, and the accommodations were surprisingly comfortable given that we were camping. At night, hearing the sounds of animals around us made the experience even more magical. During our stay in Ngorongoro, zebras even wandered into our campsite, which was incredible! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to everyone!
