Gardens by the Bay Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Oct)
Walking trail at Gardens by the Bay
#citywalk
The Gardens by the Bay are located next to the Marina Reservoir and offer breathtaking water views.
I love to explore the outdoor themed gardens because there are so much to see and experience.
Generally considered an easy route, you'll encounter other people while exploring and enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.
Do the walk early in the morning or late evening and enjoy the simple stroll and clean path.
Our Secret Garden
#citywalk
If you are wondering why they are so cute and kids like imagination then you are right!
Some of these lanterns are designed by students from Art:Dis. Which is a school for autistic kids and this time they get to express their creative through the lanterns.
I love how they were so many garden creatures for kids to learn about them too. It was fun to see kids guessing what they were. Spot animals such as a caterpillar, snail, chameleon and an elephant.
There is also a lantern lane where hundreds of lanterns are displayed and all of them are from people from different walks of life.
Bunnies In The Garden
#citywalk
If you are wondering why are there so many cute bunnies on display. This year is the year of the rabbit in the Chinese zodiac calendar. Though usually rabbits are also featured during mid autumn because it is said that they are Chang Er’s companion.
(Chang Er is the goddess of the moon and famous for drinking an elixir to prevent an enemy from stealing it.)
We think the bunnies lanterns is really cute! Sometimes the lanterns aren’t cute you know. GBTB even made some of the bunnies movable (no touching please).
Some of them are seen playing with lanterns, eating mooncakes or simply walking around the gardens under the moonlight.
Gardens Of Bloom
#citywalk
Join me in my walk at Gardens By The Bay moonlight walk at this year’s Mid Autumn festival lantern light up. Admission is free, and this year I went on a dry night 😅. Last year it was pouring so badly.
There are many huge lanterns, I felt it was one of the nicer once. Such as the golden moon gate at the entrance, the classic Chinese pavilion, all of which is life size.
Near the dragonfly lake which is near the train station is the magpie bridge about the story of cowherd and weaver girl.
My favourite after then golden moon gate is definitely then lanna lanterns.

It's part of the larger Disney franchise and offers visitors a chance to experience the enchanting world of Disney characters and stories. The park features a variety of attractions, entertainment shows, and themed areas, including Adventureland, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, and Main Street, U.S.A. Hong Kong Disneyland provides a family-friendly and whimsical escape for Disney fans and tourists of all ages in Asia.
highly recommend to visit
One of the best places to holiday in. Have been there late august.
There were plenty of things to cover so always better to plan ahead of what to explore.
Although food looks quite expensive, still worth to try some.
I highly recommend buying the ticket and booking your visit in advance. Gates open at 10:30; however, it’s good to be there around 10:00 am
Download the Disney app before to check the map and showtime.
Humidity is high, so I recommend bringing a portable fan and comfy clothes.#infinitypool #themepark #beautful #hongkong
Third HK Disneyland Trip
#timetotravel As the title says, it's my 3rd trip in HK Disneyland and I really like going here. I repeated the shows and rides I went to the first 2 times. This time, I tried the new ones: Iron Man Experience and Antman & The Wasp Nano Battle. My all time fave ride is Mystic Manor and as for the show, it's The Festival of The Lion King.
The greatest part of this trip now is the fireworks and castle display called Momentus. It's a spectacular show and quite unforgettable. The audience were all in awe and kept saying "Wow" out loud.

Childhood Dreams do come true ❤️
A relatively small theme park filled with colourful and elaborate themes, to transport us to a world of fantasy and adventure. This is definitely the happiest place on Earth.
There are many attractions, entertainment offerings, and characters filled parade.
The best month to visit Hong Kong Disneyland is between October and April when the weather isn’t hot and humid.

Rise Restaurant at Marina Bay Sands Singapore
#singapore
When staying at Marina Bay Sands Hotel, I had to check out Rise Restaurant located in the lobby of the hotel.
I went for the buffet lunch at Rise and it was amazing! There was a good variety of dishes and beverages at the buffet, including cold cuts, Japanese, Western, Asian and a wonderful selection of desserts!
Service was great and the ambience was quite relaxing yet with a slight touch of luxury.
I enjoyed the lunch and will be back!
My rating of this restaurant: 4 ⭐️ out of 5!

Shack Shake 🍔 @ Jewel
#sgfoodies
I went to the Jewel Changi Airport outlet and it seems like the biggest outlet and it was 2 storey.
I had the Shackburger, crinkled fries & lemonade iced tea. The whole meal cost $20 but I felt it was worth the price.
The ingredients used are premium hence the price is on the higher end.
The patty is juicy & flavorful, buns are fluffy & soft, cheese melts perfectly, the lettuce & tomatoes are fresh & it balances out the flavour. Every bite tastes heavenly.
A nice place to enjoy great burger and fries.

Cozy cafe/work station at Changi Terminal 2
If you are not flying business class or do not want to fight the long queue to go into the lounges that can be purchased, I recommend coming to this little work space/cafe at the transit area of Changi Terminal 2.
It is tucked at a corner of level 2 and has a lot of space for people who just want to quietly do their work while waiting for their flight.
Coffee was good and their cheesecake was delicious. Most of the user here are very mindful and doesn't make much noise. Prefect for those who need to get their last minute work done before flying!

Macdonald @Changi Airport at terminal 2
#sgfoodies
This is the recently remodelled McDonald's in Changi Airport's terminal 2, our proud and formidable pride.
When Covid strikes, the McDonald's regrettably closes, breaking the hearts of individuals like us who had memories here.
However, heartbreaks were mended, when it was
revealed that the McDonald's would reopen on June10th, 2023, having undergone a complete renovation.
Therefore, people, especially those who have special memories here, it is worth having a meal at this McDonald's.
When I was here, old, pleasant memories started to return, and I left this place a happy girl just like I was in childhood.

Silverkris Lounge Changi Airport
It is possible to go lounge hopping when you are flying business class and have unlimited lounge passes. It is also possible to pay for a lounge or buy a lounge pass. When I buy my air tickets on Trip.com there is an option to add a lounge visit. However, for some business class lounges, they only allow passengers with business class tickets to enter. If you have the chance to fly business class, be sure to try out Silverkris lounge. This lounge at Terminal 2 is smaller compared to the lounge in Terminal 3. Both lounges serve the same food and drinks. You can also take a shower as and when you want. There is hardly any queue for the showers.
