A chill 2-day 1-night trip to "Amphawa".
A 2-day 1-night getaway near Bangkok that checks all the boxes for a perfectly relaxing vacation 😍💛
🙋♀️Who else can relate?? Complaining every day about wanting to travel... but life just comes with way too many conditions! 🤣
Too lazy for a long, tiring drive / gas is expensive / anywhere is fine as long as the accommodation is nice / want to eat delicious food / need to check in at a cafe for an IG story / wouldn't mind stopping by a temple to make a wish, blah blah blah 🙄😒😅
.
.
Come along with us... on this trip, my partner and I invite everyone to a quick getaway just an hour's drive away. A round trip won't even use half a tank of gas! 🚗⛽️

♡ Leave Bangkok in the late morning, no rush, just taking it easy. 📍 First stop, pin your location to "Amphawa Floating Market" 🛶—you'll be there in no time. Take a stroll, grab some light bites, snap some photos 📸, and soak up the classic vibe that never loses its charm.
♡ For lunch, hit up "Tiew Tok Kala" 🍜 (located right inside the floating market). They serve noodles in chic coconut shells, and the shop has an adorable vintage decor.
♡ Once your belly is full, it's time to check into our stay for this trip: Riverton Amphawa 🏩 A beautiful riverside hotel with a fantastic atmosphere. It's shady 🌳☘️, quiet, and peaceful—far from the hustle and bustle. The rooms are gorgeous and truly perfect for relaxation. 😴🛏
🏞⛅️ The evening is the absolute highlight... dining by the river with a gentle breeze, giving off effortless good vibes. We ordered dishes made from Samut Songkhram's famous local ingredients, like 🐟 Tom Yum Mackerel, 🌶 Mackerel Chili Paste, 🌿 Seablite Salad, and 🦪 Spicy Stir-fried Razor Clams. Let me tell you, everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! 😋

♡ Wake up early to catch the fresh air, grab breakfast, and offer alms to the monks by the river. It's a simple moment but so good for the soul. 😍
♡ After checking out of the hotel, we had to stop by a cute cafe for a quick story update at "Simply Space Coffee & Studio" ☕️. It's a tiny but incredibly charming spot that art lovers will adore 🖼🎨. They regularly host art workshops 🧶, making it a great place to sit back, sip some coffee, and enjoy a treat.
♡ We went all out for lunch at Poh Pla Tu Mae Klong, a small local restaurant right by the river. Super delicious—an absolute must-try!
♡ To wrap up the trip beautifully 🙏, we stopped to pay our respects to Thao Vessuwan at "Wat Chulamanee" for good fortune, a little merit-making, and peace of mind before heading back to Bangkok feeling completely fulfilled.
✨️ It's the perfect itinerary... a trip that isn't exhausting, where you can rest, eat, explore, make merit, and fully reset in just 2 days. 💛
If you're looking for a short trip that's an easy drive, "Amphawa" is always a solid choice.
