There are small details that make the difference, but this one doesn't: you can't use the heating to promote energy saving (air conditioning is only allowed in summer...), the toilet paper is the roughest we've ever used, unrefilled soap bottles, intermittent reception service (we were there one night at about 11pm and had to wait outside for a few minutes for them to open).
On the other hand, the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff, particularly the reception staff, is noteworthy.

It’s a very nice hotel. Close to restaurants and about 10 minute walk to the nearest MRT. The staff are very nice and friendly. Good service! 👏They assisted us well during our stay. The room is big enough and so neat. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Would recommend this place.
The hotel service is enthusiastic, the health is clean and tidy, the room is warm and spacious, the hotel location is superior, the room cleaning staff is also very kind, the front desk is also very enthusiastic, the price of the room is also very affordable, cost-effective. Super praise!
Hotel is located just next to the Midi train station, where you could enter it by the side door located near to Haagen Daaz in the station.
As we arrived too early, we weren't allowed to check in hence we put the luggage at the concierge. When we returned to collect our luggage around 8pm after check in, we were shocked to find out that we need to locate our own luggages from 3 different storage room 🙄 Then, what was the luggage tag given to us served as? I find this super tedious tbh!
Apart from this small hiccup, the rest of the stay was okay. However, there is no room slipper, toothbrush & toothpaste being provided in the room. Personally I find that both the mattress & pillows need to be replaced as they're too soft & thus I woke up with sore back.

The facade of same rooms under renovation.
For breakfast is famous salmon.
The hotel is very close to the European Parliament. For breakfast there is delicious salmon. In May 2024, the façade is being renovated; the windows of rooms *10-*13 are covered by building structures. The staff is very polite. For five days the bed was not changed.
Location is 10m walk from Midi SNCB station. Massive construction work at entrance, so get a room facing courtyard is advisable.
Room is fine for 1-2nts, the neighbourhood is mainly occupied by African, Middle Easterners & East Asian. Many grocery shops, buying fruits & daily essentials are cheap, for meals it’s better to eat in the station
Did not consume the hotel breakfast. Lift& corridoris extremely claustrophobic, the space of 1pax
Great hotel overall, located 20 min from center in clean neighborhood. 5 min from north train station, very convenient. Kusmi tea in the room. Beautiful view. Solid 8 out of 10. Thank you for such a great experience.
Room was rather small, but had everything you need. Dogs are welcome which is great! There is free coffee and tea in the lobby, but the coffee was unfortunately terrible. Breakfast was simple, but ok.
All in all the hotel is at a correct price for what it offers. I would go back.

GGuest UserLocation was good. They didn’t have early check ins and they didn’t call us when the room was ready we had to keep going to the reception desk to get updates. Even when they told us it would be ready in 10 minutes we waited and waited thinking they’d come get us as we were just sitting in the foyer area but no it took us going to reception desk for them to say yep its ready.
GGuest UserRight in the middle of attraction places. Closed to central station. They allow you to check in early as well. Yummy breakfast. You will love it.
GGuest UserGreat experience!
The room was spacious and well decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Overall, a great stay. I would definitely come back .
GGladysKvThe dominican is definitely worth every penny! 1 Street away from the busy shopping area grandplace, 200m away from metro, room is extremely comfort clean and spacious. Delicious breakfast, friendly polite and helpful staff.
CCharlieALL GOOD with excellent reception staff support. Fortunately, they advised me NOT to park my park in the streets around the corner of the hotel because foreigners's car happened to have their windows smashed. So I parked in the Hotel parking to secure my car. Looks like this neighborghood is not safe...
JJoelIf you're looking for a no-frills, budget-friendly stay in Brussels, Hotel Siru is your go-to! Nestled right next to the Rogier subway station, the location is a dream for both avid explorers and lazy travelers alike. Seriously, if it were any closer to the subway, it would be on the tracks!
The rooms are clean and cozy, nothing fancy, but hey, who needs a chandelier when you're just there to crash after a day of waffles and chocolate? The service? Top-notch. The staff are so attentive and friendly, you'd think they mistook you for royalty. They even helped us with directions, dining recommendations, and were quick with extra towels—no need to resort to using the hand towels like makeshift bath sheets.
Now, Brussels has a bit of a reputation for being... let's say, 'adventurous.' But don't fret! Despite the city's somewhat sketchy safety stats, we managed to dodge danger like pros. We weren't mugged or robbed—hooray for small victories! We did have a close encounter with a pickpocket, though. Some overly enthusiastic Maghrebi immigrant tried their luck on our first day, but they must have been new at the game. We walked away with all our belongings intact and a story to tell.
In conclusion, Hotel Siru is your knight in slightly faded armor, offering a safe, clean, and friendly haven amidst the bustling streets of Brussels. Book your stay, and may your pockets remain as full as your stomach after sampling Brussels' finest treats!
GGuest UserGood location, near to Brussels Central train station and grand place. Many eatery too. The downside is that the rooms are not sound proof, got waken up early in the morning with all loud noises when the staff is doing the cleaning of rooms nearby.
GGuest UserWe stayed in an apartment for 4 people for 2 days. The room is not big but functional for 4 people. We didn’t use small kitchen area as there wasn’t enough space if we opened the sofa bed. Overall the room is clean, but a bit old for the furnitures and facilities. The toilet is a bit small too. But it’s in a good location, walkable distance to everywhere e.g. just 12min walk to the Grand-Place.
AAnonymous UserInsanely accessible and convenient, literally 1min away from Brussels Central station. Nearest Metro/Tram is a 2-3min walk away. Grand Place, Museum of Original Figurines & St Hubert Gallerie are right behind the hotel. Carrefour express and Relay are nearby if you need to get basic necessities. St Michael & St Gudula Cathedral is a 10min walk away.
The room and bathroom is spacious and clean, with good soundproofing. The TV connects to youtube so that's a plus. Loved that there's an extendable clothesline that stretches above the bathtub. Staff were polite and helpful when I had enquiries. Didn't have an ironing board in the room but it was delivered soon after I approached the front desk for it.
(Side note: The security deposit took more than 2weeks after my stay to be refunded back to my card)
GGuest UserStayed for three nights and had a lovely stay, only problem was the lifts weren't working the morning I was due to check out anyway, but besides that this hotel is a hidden gem in the city centre in Place des Martyrs. Rogier station is just a few minutes walk through the shopping centre, for airport bus, train and metro connections. I specifically chose Juliana as this hotel has a swimming pool and wellness facilities, with a mini gym and not many hotels in Brussels have pools. The room I requested was a quiet room on high floor away from lifts, room 306. Very comfortable, but be aware that the large top window brings in a lot of light, you need to ask to get it closed away or it will be very light. It's wonderful to provide Milton Brown toiletries and I enjoyed the Nespresso style coffee and teas provided. Housekeeping were helpful, I lost an earring in the bathroom basin and one of the ladies help recover it, so merci to her for her assistance. Pool, sauna and steam room are great, but be aware that there is no changing area, so go directly down to basement ready changed and wear slippers provided in the bathroom drawers. Staff were very helpful and friendly, I would definitely stay here again if I return to Brussels.
