It is a very well located place with an enviable view. The hotel is a little old and expensive in high season but in general it has good beds and air conditioning.

Our experience checking in was very bad. We had to wait until the clerks had time to check our ******* reservation with Mexico City. And they proceeded to attend every other person checking in first, making us wait about 30 minutes before they could check and sure enough find it. Very disappointing.
It just left a bad taste from the beginning. They're are many cute hotels all around... I'd try one of those next time.

Overall delightful. The only thing that would have made it even better are more shade options, especially in the afternoon for fair skinned people like us who enjoy being around the pool but can’t handle the sun.

We had a fabulous stay at Hotel Irma. The staff was fantastic, the room was lovely and the maid left adorable animals formed from towels every day. The food was good and we loved the servers, especially Isaac, Liliana and JP. The pools were great and there are a few options for places to sit or you can go down to the beach and swim in the ocean. My husband went snorkelling there and saw some amazing sea life. It’s a short walk into the town and the locals are very nice, and it’s very safe. We will absolutely return.

Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. However, the general manager was rude and unfriendly, as soon as we step in the reception area, she approached us to see why we were waiting so long. Well, ******* did not send our reservation to the hotel. She did not honor our balcony room reservation and she yelled at my kids for running around us. At the pool area, she stood to observe guests several times. She also came many times to ask how we were doing to the point that she became annoying. Her greeting was not a pleasant one. The hotel has an excellent view, but as long as that person is in charge, I will not stay at this place. All other staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Views were amazing, felt safe, very clean, nice helpful staff. Our only issue was the AC unit was not working properly on arrival and we were eventually given a new room the next day. Plus the cleaning lady would turn off the AC unit and when we came back into the room it took forever to get cool.
