Hotels in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan

Good hotel with great location especially for Muslim people where you can find lany Arab restaurants nearby , people are friendly and helpful. However the breakfast needs to be more varied for international travellers.

Hotel all good! But had really bad experience with Trip.com itself. It has been almost 48hrs and my issue still not solved

I recently stayed at Dongfeng Oriental Guzhen Hotel and had a thoroughly pleasant experience. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring restful sleep, and the modern bathroom had excellent water pressure. While the décor was simple, it felt fresh and well-kept. The strong, reliable Wi-Fi was a definite plus for both work and leisure. Great Location & Value: The hotel’s location proved very convenient – close to local dining spots, shops, and key attractions in Guzhen. Transportation links were easily accessible, making exploring straightforward. Considering the quality of the room, service, and amenities offered, the hotel provides excellent value for money. It’s a practical base whether you’re traveling for business or leisure. I left feeling well-rested and satisfied and would happily return on my next visit to the area.

My trip's sole purpose was to find manufacturers in Zhongshan. I searched high and low, only to realize the solution was right back at the hotel – what a pleasant surprise! I'd initially sourced a few factories via 1688.com. After arriving in Zhongshan from Guangzhou that morning, my factory visits revealed they were all small workshops. After a frustrating half-day with no suitable options, I decided to check into a hotel. To my amazement, my room was stocked with various manufacturers' catalogs. Their scale and capabilities immediately looked impressive. I promptly called the listed manufacturers, completed the full factory inspection process, and successfully secured a highly satisfactory supplier. A solid five-star review, absolutely!

This hotel has a good location inside town. It does not have laundry. There was a safe box without any battery. It has a good advantage for Muslims. The rooms are equipped with Toilet hose.

The hotel is very clean and Comfortable I rep love it .I hope to come here again when I comeback to Zhongshan .

The hotel's location is fantastic; it's less than a 10-minute walk to the MRT station, and there are plenty of shopping areas and great food nearby, making getting around incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, paying attention to every detail. The room was more spacious than it appeared in the pictures, with a simple and clean decor. The bedding was so soft, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, and there was plenty of hot water, even the toiletries felt high-quality. The breakfast spread was incredibly varied, offering a mix of Western and Chinese options, plus local specialties, all made with fresh ingredients and tasting delicious. It's perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Highly recommended!

I'd like to give a shout-out to the front desk lady. When I checked in, she proactively told me about several large lighting markets nearby, sent me their locations, and even gave me a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast spread was excellent, with freshly made wontons and fried eggs that were super delicious. A cup of coffee really kickstarts a busy workday!

The room offers a lovely view, and the facilities are decent. However, if you're particular about your sleep quality, you should definitely steer clear of this specific room. This is because the large floor-to-ceiling window directly faces the bed. While it's fine at night, it gets incredibly hot on summer mornings, and the blazing sun will wake you up as early as 6 AM. No matter how tightly you close the blackout curtains, there's always a gap that lets light stream directly onto the bed. The air conditioning unit is incredibly noisy; even on the lowest fan setting, it sounds like a tractor. If you turn the fan down, the room gets warm. For anyone who is a light sleeper, this room is absolutely one to avoid. The bathroom is stiflingly hot. Although they claim there's a concealed exhaust fan, I couldn't detect any air conditioning or ventilation whatsoever. If you close the door, it becomes so stuffy you'd feel faint, so we had to keep it open all the time. The service was generally good, and they were receptive to feedback. However, for an executive room, they really should inspect the room for problems before assigning it to guests. Upon check-out, they offered small complimentary gifts (an eye mask and a tiny figurine, which frankly, I could have done without). Ultimately, I hope the room's price truly reflects the quality and experience it's supposed to offer.

The room was clean and tidy, but the check-out time was a bit early. It would be better if check-out was before 2 PM.
