Juyue Hotel (Zhengzhou East Railway Station Provincial Government)

This hotel is typical for a budget-friendly option – not great, not terrible, just average. The location is decent, about a 5-minute walk to Metro Line 1. The breakfast is actually pretty good for a budget hotel. The biggest issue is the smoke smell in the room. On the first day, it was really strong. The staff sprayed air freshener, but even the pillows smelled of smoke. It seemed like they might have changed the pillows on the second day, as it was better. However, sometimes I could still smell smoke coming through the bathroom's ventilation shaft. The soundproofing isn't great, but luckily there weren't many guests during my stay, so it wasn't too noisy.

My overall stay exceeded expectations. The room was meticulously clean and all the facilities were in excellent condition. The staff were gentle and patient. The location is very convenient for dining and getting around, and the environment is quiet and peaceful. Great value for money, I highly recommend staying here.

The facilities are complete with a washer-dryer combo, and the towels and cups are individually sterilized in the room. What's really special is the complimentary cold drinks and snacks. The tea set is well-appointed, and the tea selection is top-notch. Highly recommended!

The front desk staff, Mengmeng, was warm and attentive, promptly and satisfactorily addressing any requests. They also upgraded our room type. The room is fully equipped with smart amenities, including a washer/dryer, a disinfection cabinet—perfect for mysophobes—and smart speakers with voice control, which enhanced the stay experience. The room was clean and tidy, meticulously maintained, and the overall environment was quiet and comfortable, perfect for a restful night. • The hotel is conveniently located near a subway station and is surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and eateries, making it very convenient for both daily life and travel.
