Xixi Guesthouse - Photo Gallery

The guesthouse is located right next to the scenic area, offering beautiful views. It's a bit far from the bar street, making it relatively quiet. The courtyard itself has a lovely view, and it's a great place to sit and soak up the sun. However, check-in and check-out are self-service, so it's not very convenient to bring large luggage downstairs.

The landlady is very nice, the guesthouse is in a good location, the rooms are clean, and you can stay with peace of mind.

The guesthouse's courtyard is unique and cozy, a perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms also have a traditional Chinese style, which the children loved. The beds are spacious enough, and there are two adorable little ducks in the courtyard.

The guesthouse has a vintage feel to its decor. The rooms are clean and tidy. Perhaps because I chose a ground-floor courtyard room, there was a slight musty smell. My biggest complaint was the toilets; they were two squat toilets, like those found in a highway service area, with no separate shower room, just a simple showerhead next to the sink. The hygiene was good, though. The landlady was very welcoming and provided excellent service; she even cooked us mung bean soup. The location is convenient for strolling around and dining; the view is beautiful right outside, and there's parking available.

Figures 1 and 2 show the views from the guesthouse entrance and the room balcony. While not directly overlooking the rock formations, the views shown in Figures 3 and 4 are just around the corner. Compared to the more expensive prices for rock-viewing accommodations, this stay was quite cost-effective. The hotel is relatively close to the East Gate of Qixingyan (though both are a bit of a distance), but most online guides recommend entering from the North Gate (as the main attractions are concentrated there), which makes the location somewhat inconvenient. Also, most guides recommend exiting from the East Gate, as there are many convenient food stalls along the way from the exit to the guesthouse. (Most are snack shops and late-night eateries. If you want to experience local cuisine/large/chain restaurants, you'll need to look elsewhere.) The hotel's location is very convenient for taking the water bus (the pier is just around the corner), night cycling tours, and enjoying restaurants and bars. The cleanliness is standard for a guesthouse, and the hotel's decor is quite unique and photogenic. Finally, the owner's service was excellent; she's beautiful and kind. She provided detailed travel advice before check-in. All issues raised upon check-in were addressed promptly. Even though breakfast was late, the owner offered a complimentary side dish (seasonal food, availability depends on your stay 🤭), which earned her extra credit. 😝Hopefully, the above information is helpful~

The house is located at the end of Yanqian Village, in a quiet place! The host is very hospitable! The room is clean and tidy! The room I booked has a small terrace, suitable for couples. The only drawback is that the soundproofing is a bit poor; we encountered some guests who were still noisy in the early hours of the morning.

老闆娘很好，民宿湖景很漂亮，就是熱水有點慢，其他都不錯。

房間乾淨舒服，房東熱情有禮，有個小院子，養了幾衹可愛的鴨子，很有趣意。房間不是很大，但是外面有一個小陽台，可以看到河景，民宿是背對景區的另一邊，不能看到七星巖那邊的風景，去景區門口有點距離步行大概15分鐘，可以租個單車或者小毛驢，這樣出行比較方便。

房間有個陽台，看風景非常舒服。可以在上面吹吹風，看看風景，喝喝茶，非常愜意
