Sovereign Hotel Zhanjiang Reviews

This was my second stay here, and I'm still impressed. The hotel's location is excellent, and the service is incredibly welcoming. The underground parking is a huge plus, making it super convenient. They also have dining options, and the food is really good. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Extremely dissatisfied. The drainage in the room was clogged, and the toilet didn't flush properly – it was disgusting. I can't believe this place is ranked fifth. When I checked in, there was a company annual meeting, and I could hear loud, rowdy noises from the lobby. The smell of alcohol was also quite unpleasant...

This hotel has three outstanding features. Firstly, the service is exceptional. The hotel offers shuttle service to and from the train station. When I contacted them upon arrival at the station, their car wasn't available, so they reimbursed my taxi fare, which was a pleasant surprise. When I was leaving, the concierge thoughtfully advised me to wait indoors to avoid the strong wind outside – a very warm gesture. The front desk service was also excellent. Secondly, the indoor pool is fantastic, with great facilities and perfect water temperature. Thirdly, the breakfast spread is incredibly generous. However, there's one small drawback: the carpet in the room is quite old, which slightly detracted from an otherwise perfect stay.

Reminiscent fame of the magnificent hotel with it's long history and pride as top accomodation in Zhanjiang is still there in spite of big chane is taking place here. To be honest, there are number of issues the hotel management is facing now and to overcome. I had very good stay. Thank you and 加油

Perfect hotel. Room very clean and good place to relax. Staff is super. They dont speak english so communication is limited but anyway always served with big values. Swimming pool nice but outsoor too cold. I rexommend this hotel. My favorite

I was originally going to have morning tea, but I didn't expect to see that the hotel was not bad. I asked the front desk to take a look at the room. I was very surprised. The hardware facilities were very complete. The materials used were the best. The bedding was also very comfortable. The service staff made me feel very comfortable. When I left, I also made an appointment to send me to the station. The experience was very good. This is a veritable 5-star hotel in Zhanjiang. The design is old-school and luxurious. Not to mention the morning tea. The soufflé is so big that you have to order it if you don't have a table. In general, it has the taste of the old Cantonese morning tea. The pineapple in the sweet and sour pork is particularly sweet. I will go there next time

Overall it's pretty good, clean, and other services are also good. But when checking in, the male waiter at the front desk had a bad attitude and was very impatient. The morning tea on the second floor is great, recommended!

The hotel is in an excellent location, with large rooms and complete facilities, but it is a little old. The airport bus stops at the hotel, and there is also a high-speed rail pick-up service. The staff is attentive and enthusiastic, and the restaurant's morning tea is a highlight!
