GGuest UserThis is one of the nicer, quieter accommodations right at the end of the beachfront with a great view of the shore. It is a small boutique hotel with only 4 rooms. There is a tourist attraction right below it. In the evening, you can sit at the viewing deck to relax into the night. The small crew of live-in staff are great. They helped us with a very challenging situation and were very quick to provide general assistance even up to very late at night. They were communicative on Wechat. The only downside is that the hotel is some distance to the main area at the library building. There is a buggy which brings you there and back which the hotel staff arrange very quickly and enthusiastically. This is a small problem as the hotel staff are very quick to support but you must be aware to factor in an additional 10-15minutes travelling time to reach the library building to go elsewhere. Do also note that at the library building, cars cannot wait too long if you are planning travel activities. The hotel also houses two cute cats as pets which are friendly to guests. There is a nearby cafe affiliated to the hotel which is nice to relax in and the coffee is fine. The beachfront shops are about 10-15 minutes walk away along the shore. The toilet in the rooms have bidets. The rooms have good unobstructed views, which should be better compared to other hotels around them. In addition to usual complimentary water bottles, small snacks are provided in the rooms. The hotel staff are excellent. They had a high energy level, were engaging and genuine in wanting to support hotel guests.

GGuest UserThis homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price. If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout. There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay. The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea. Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.

PPHS65Excellent service from the lady boss and the staff. From the time I contacted her, she sent me lots of information about getting to the guesthouse. More importantly, she followed up with me to ensure that I am on the right track to the guesthouse. This was very much appreciated as I had a flight delay and that messed up my original travel plan. The lady boss was very proactive in ensuring that I find my way to the guesthouse. The lady boss' daugther is very cute and adorable. She shared part of her orange with me and when I told her that I liked it, she went off and got one for me! Even wanted to help me with my luggage but a little difficult as she's only 8 years old. The guesthouse is located on top of a small hill and lady boss will pick up guests at the bottom of the hill; actually, in my opinion, hardly needed as it's only 10 minutes or less walk up a gentle slope but she does the pickup as part of the service that they offer. The room is very nice and clean. The toilet is western style and has a very nice touch - spot lights are installed on the toilet ceilings and when the nights are cold, you will really appreciate the warmth from these lights after coming out from your shower! And finally, they will drive guests out to 2 of the best viewpoints for the Tianluokeng cluster at no additional charge.

GGuest UserThoroughly enjoy every bit of our stay with 1949 resort. The whole vibe of the place is very relaxed and chill. The images of the room is very accurate and high tech. At the night you can enjoy the peace and serenity away from city take things really slowly and appreciate nature. The owner of the place is very hospitable as well. She is able to cater to our needs for dinner options and also provided an amazing chinese breakfast platter. I wish I have plan 1 more night here.

LLovely_dianaShili Blue Mountain It is a very niche camping spot around Xiamen⛺️ There are two hills in front and back. On one side, you can see the Blue Mountain Scenic Area of Guchong Village; on the other side, you can see the whole view of Xiamen. Every morning, the hill is crowded with people to watch the sunrise🌅very romantic💗 Stayed in the hotel for 4 days, the exquisite meals in the restaurant can fully satisfy the breakfast, lunch and dinner, fruits: grapefruit/guava/orange/apple, good night sweet soup is made in different ways every day: Tremella soup/mung bean soup/barley water; the chef's sea bass pepper shrimp is even more unique! A perfect place for health preservation! In fact, although the mountain is not as convenient as the city, it is actually only a 1-hour drive to the volcanic island and Xiamen city The scenic area is a 10-minute drive from the hotel, and there are many recreational projects The 5-day itinerary is full, the air is fresh, and it is far away from the hustle and bustle~

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a village about 15 minutes drive from Nanmen bay. First we were concerned because the village didn't look like a ”tourist friendly” place. But when we had arrived, all our concerns disappeared. The place is very quiet and chill unlike the hussle and bussle of hotels near the beach. The hotel is a renovated traditional Chinese house. All facilities are new, clean and made with a good taste and attention to the details. What you definitely don't expect to find in the old Chinese village is an electronic toilet that greets you by opening the lid when you coming into the bathroom. 😁 The room was clean, smelled very good and the linings and towels were superb 5 stars level quality. The breakfast is simple (Chinese traditional) but fulfilling and tasty. There are complimentary coffee drip bags in each room and also a coffee machine in the bar area. The owner of this hotel is a professional traveler. He told us a lot about his trips all over the China and abroad and showed his photo works. He also designed ans made some furniture in the hotel by himself. I helped him to take some photos for the hotel which you can find below 👇 Absolutely recommend this place for staying!

GGuest UserIt's a fun guesthouse with lots of cute little decorations. The environment is great, and most importantly, it's incredibly clean—the cleanest guesthouse I've ever stayed in, no exaggeration. We tried the grilled fish recommended by the owner, and we all loved it. It was a great experience! The room was nice, the staff was friendly, and the scenery on Dongshan Island was beautiful too.

GGuest UserThe hotel location is excellent, right on the city center of Zhangzhou. Cynthia is very friendly and helpful for arranging early check-in which was awesome . Room was very clean and we loved the view. Besides, the breakfast buffet was hot, fresh, and delicious. The waiter 雪婷 provided an excellent service overall, and she was friendly with answering questions patiently.
