Annanshe B&B (Zhangzhou Ancient City)

Great location! Right in the ancient city, and the service was warm and enthusiastic. Here's a summary: Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, not far from the Confucius Temple, so everything is within easy reach. The room was clean, well-lit, and beautifully decorated, perfectly suiting a hotel located within an ancient city. The only minor drawback is that cars aren't allowed inside the ancient city. However, the hotel is very close to the South Gate of the ancient city, so we were able to park conveniently at the South Gate parking lot, and the parking fees were even reimbursed! Both check-in and check-out were handled with warm greetings and farewells. You absolutely must try the 'Siguotang' (four-fruit dessert soup) in the summer! Several shops in the ancient city serve amazing ones!

The room is new, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with great water pressure. The air conditioning works well and isn't noisy at night, so I get good rest. I'll definitely be coming back!

The hotel room has a charming Nanyang style, and the experience was quite good, definitely worth staying. The location is great, making it easy to get around. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the service was excellent. Check-in was quick.

This hotel genuinely focuses on service, and you can't fault them there – they're incredibly enthusiastic! When I first arrived, I saw a small storefront on the ground floor and thought there might only be a few rooms, but when I got upstairs, it was a huge area. The environment is really lovely, and the decor is beautiful. They proactively gave us a guide to the ancient city. The hotel is close to the South Gate, so it's easy to walk in. Five stars!

The room was beautiful, and they even gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony! The balcony was amazing!!!

The old city and other scenic spots are pretty much the same – cars are restricted at certain times, so you have to walk over a hundred meters from where you get off to the hotel. Within my budget, this was the closest and best-value hotel. All the staff I encountered during my stay were really nice, and the cleaning ladies spoke so gently. The cleanliness was spot on. The room had great amenities, including disposable bathtub liners and toilet seat covers. A unique feature of this room type must be the small tea table. Are the chairs specially designed? I found it more comfortable to curl up and lean back in them. For Zhangzhou Old City, a day or two is enough to explore. After dropping off my luggage, I'd go out, and when I got tired, I'd come back to the hotel to rest before heading out again. For ginger duck, Lin Gen Hua's is good. For 'si guo tang' (four fruit dessert), the one next to the popular 'triangle guo' stall is excellent. As for 'tu sun dong' (sea worm jelly), I personally think the smaller ones taste better; the chopped-up worms in the larger ones don't have as good a texture as the whole, smaller ones.

Location: Inside the South Gate of the ancient city, making it super convenient for exploring. You have to park outside the city walls, and you need to find a parking spot yourself, but they reimburse parking fees, and the lot isn't far from the hotel. Cleanliness: The room was spotless; my parents raved about it. The bedding was very comfortable, especially the pillows—they weren't those flimsy, soft types. Service: The front desk staff was very enthusiastic. Since it's a walk-up, they helped us with our luggage. Facilities: The projector's streaming apps came with built-in memberships.

The location is unbeatable! The parking lot is less than 200 meters from the hotel, which is super convenient. Cars can't enter the old town, so we parked in the South Gate parking lot, and the hotel reimbursed the parking fee. For this price, the room was excellent. It was spacious and very clean. A truly worthwhile stay! I forgot to take a picture of the 'four fruit soup'.

Location: Not far from the entrance of the ancient city and very close to the Confucius Temple. It's conveniently located, and the surroundings are pleasant – a real tranquil spot amidst the bustle. Service: The staff (guys) provided excellent service, from helping with luggage to giving detailed and enthusiastic advice on travel routes. Cleanliness: Generally good. It comes with a smart toilet, a bathtub, and the pillows are genuinely comfortable.
