Vienna International Hotel Properties in Zhangjiajie

The hotel was bustling with guests from all over the world. Its location is fantastic, just a ten-minute walk from the Tianmen Mountain cable car entrance. The rooms were clean and spacious with all the necessary amenities. Breakfast offered a good variety and tasted delicious. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was handled professionally and quickly. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for one night, mainly because of its great location near the cable car—and we were pleasantly surprised with a free room upgrade upon arrival! The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. A big plus was the free access to a washing machine and dryer, which was super convenient for us. The only reason I’m giving cleanliness a 4 instead of 5 is due to a strong cigarette smell in both the hotel and the room. We had requested a non-smoking room specifically, I understand it's hard for the hotel to completely prevent sneaky smokers. Overall though, we appreciated the kind gesture of the upgrade and really enjoyed the comfortable stay and convenient amenities.

The room was clean and the facilities were quite new. The service was good, and the front desk offered luggage storage. The hotel's location isn't on the main street, so it's a bit out of the way, but I chose it for the cleanliness and tidiness. The breakfast was decent and filling, with congee, fried eggs, fried dough sticks, soy milk, and rice noodles. It's about a 1km walk to Suoxiyu Valley, and a nice stroll around the streets in the evening. Getting to Wulingyuan Entrance is a 2.5km taxi ride, which takes about 10 minutes.

Hotel is shared with a lot of other companies, therefore a lot of noise and and a lot of people in the building. The lobby is very small. There was construction during our stay in the building, so a lot of noise. The cleaning personal just threw my clothes from my bed to the side and now it has creases in them, thanks for nothing! Breakfast is only chinese style. The location is the only really positive aspect.

The location isn't far from the 72-Strange Towers and the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, about a 10-yuan taxi ride away. There are plenty of food options in the alley next to the building downstairs. The hotel staff are enthusiastic and proactively offered advice on tourist routes and how to explore the attractions. The room is large with good natural light and a comfy sofa. The facilities are great, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the water pressure is good. Parking is convenient with a large lot right at the entrance.
