First, we found all Staff are friendly and helpful, especially Lucy, who helped us with the travel arrangements, includes but not limited to entrance tickets to Zhangjiajie National parks, sky glass Bridge Bailong elevator, and a local night show. We also request for a personal tour guide, and transportation services. Ms. Chen; the tour guide was very tentative on the whole trip. She walked us through the areas where its had less tourists for pictures, and some short cut to avoid the crowds. She explained the history at each point of interest. Next the Room: We booked a non-smoking room. The room was big with a window over looking the river. The bed was fine, however, all 4 pillows had a bad smell. We asked the staff for new pillows. A staff took them and returned minutes later with 4 warm pillows. Perhaps. They ran the pillows through a dryer but some smell is still remained. There was no refrigerator in the room. The laundry room only has a washer with no dryer.
Breakfast with simple Chinese dishes.

Highly recommend this hotel as the staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel room is clean and housekeepers are helpful as well. Hotel provided free self serve laundry service. This hotel is within walking distance to reach Zhangjiajie Wulinyuan national forest entrance (east gate) It's worth for money as well. I will definitely will stay this hotel again for next visit.

We stayed here for 3 days 2 nights. We choose this hotel due to close proximity to East Gate of Wulingyuan, just 15 mins walk along and crossing the river. Clealiness wise is superb, they have voice control smart home system in their hotel room, which is quite fancy. Hotel interior is cosy and confortable. They have welcome drink too upon check in. Breakfast wise taste good, we like the noodles soup prepared right on the spot, with added soya sauce and vinegar, it taste delicious. They provide value added service such as you can pre-book all the entry ticket to Zhangjiajie attractions with discounted price through them. On top of that, the hotel staffs able to advise you the route to follow through when you visit all the attractions so you won't get lost. We are happy with the stay and highly recommend to our friends and family to stay in when they come over to Wulingyuan, Zhangjiajie.

We had an excellent stay. The room was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Location was perfect both for visiting the park and the village. We got excellent help with booking all tickets and transportation everywhere. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was very good.

My wife, toddler, and I loved our four-night stay at Lanting. It is closely situated to the east gate of the Wulingyuan scenic area. The breakfast was extensive (all Chinese cuisine) and the restaurant decent, too. But the best part was their service. All of their staff members were eager to help in any they could. One hotel employee (Xiao Ting 小婷) provided daily recommendations and itinerary plans that allowed us to maximize our time. I highly recommend it!

The staff at the front desk are really helpful, recommending us places and routes, helping to book tickets at a small discount and answering our many questions, even after we have checked out! Always a friendly face when we see them.
The room was lovely and the beds were super comfortable. Shower temperature can vary a little but no big issue! Everything else was great!

Very good. Room was clean and extremely large and roomy. Breakfast mostly chinese dishes. Walking distance to one of the park entrances. Hotel reception can help with buying tickets. Nice with free laundry machine on each floor. Small gym and some equipment broken. Altough we chose a non-smoking room there were still some smell of smoke coming through the ventilation from other rooms.

This is the best hotel i ever stay in near east gate Zhangjiajie National Park. Service was excellent , all staff very kind. Will back here to staycation
