We stayed at this hotel 2 nights and everything is beyond expectations and the girl at the lobby and specifically Mike were very helpful and treated us well I am more than happy to recommend this place to anyone

Our experience at this hotel was 10/10!!! The room, the breakfast + the staff were all amazing. In particular we loved how kind and friendly Ceci was! She helped us with our itinerary before we even arrived at the hotel and then was so efficient with a full explanation including a super helpful paper map. She went above and beyond for us and was so friendly + eager to help! The hotel in general was beautiful and the views from all around are stunning. The breakfast was a mix of western and chinese which was perfect for us! Would 1000% recommend this hotel we were wishing we were staying for another 3 weeks when we left:( + bonus they have the cutest dog ever !!!!

Excellent small hotel situated a short walk from park entrance. Contemporary design, views over mountains, infinity pool, good restaurant, and excellent service. Kindly took us to station at end of trip. Thank you.

We had the best time here! The staff is incredible and really helps you in every turn. They draw a map for us for the park which helped us so much. On top of that, we had booked the tickets for an entry gate more far away but luckily could still cancel those and the hotel helped us buy new ones for the MIDDLE GATE which is located just 10min walk away. The pool is gorgeous (although unfortunately it was too chilly for us to actually use it) and the restaurant on site offers great breakfast and dinner. More Chinese options than Western, but that's what we love. We also got a lovely afternoon tea organized for us in the room. I hope to be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Specially Nick helped us to make our stay very pleasant. He helped us plan our 3 days in The Zhangjiajie Forest en Grand Canyon. They also dropped us off at the middle gate of the park. The afternoon snacks with tea will be remembered. I can really recommend this hotel to everyone.

One of the best hotels we stayed at in China. It is walking distance to one of the entrances of the Zhangjiajie national park. Will helped us a lot with making a plan for the park and showing us the hotel. Rooms are clean and the pool is beautiful on the roof.

I had an excellent stay here. The best part was how accommodating the staff was. Each day Nick offered to sit down with me and plan out my activities for the following day. He would help me adjust the plan based on weather and visibility. He would walk me through how to navigate the park and provided detailed instructions along with a drawn out map. Amazing service!

The staff are friendly and considerate—they really try to accommodate our needs. The location is great, very close to the middle gate and totally walkable. The staff even offers to drive you if needed. happy to stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Nick’s and the other hotel staff’s service and support were outstanding. They helped us with our luggage, showed us the best way to explore the park and even organised a driver for us who picked up a parcel in the city since it couldn’t be delivered to the hotel. Thank you very much.

Everything was great. Starting from the receptionists Mr Will till the end. Location is in a quite area,near to the park middle gate. Mr.Will was so helpful, explained everything about the park and also ticket booking. The only thing missing was breakfast menu variety. It was Chinese menu like most of the hotels in China so far I have been in.I recommend this hotel.

A wonderful stay from start to finish! The staff were so accommodating and helpful, especially Mia, who was ready and willing to provide information, answer our many questions about the park, and make us feel welcome. The afternoon tea and welcome fruit were much appreciated. Though it was too cold to use the pool, I could see how it would be a paradise in the summer. The crackling fireplace and friendly golden retriever were unexpected bonuses that filled our evenings with joy.

Fantastic service! Drew a map for me to understand the route for the forest and offered to drive me to the South gate. Room was gorgeous with a lovely view though it was raining during my stay. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very friendly - especially the dog!

This is my first time visiting china and I already went through three cities. Beijing/Zhangjiajie/Shanghai. But, while the others hotel were top of the top. Avatar hilltop definitely has a special place. I really loved the hotel. It’s a few minutes walk from the first bus stop of avatar mountain senic. From the moment I landed, someone was already there to receive me and at the hotel Will helped set up the entire route I would take. Telling me where I should walk and where I should take the bus etc. They also bought all necessary tickets for me so I just had to go with my passport. On the second day, Mia was the one who drew the map for me. This time to Canyon bridge. She also helped me receive some stuff I ordered from Beijing airport. All in all, everyone at the hotel was really friendly and warm and helpful. I even asked Will about some snacks and he gave me the localization immediately. If I ever visit Zhangjiajie again, I am definitely choosing this hotel.
