The hotel shares a parking lot with another hotel, and there's also an underground parking garage for the scenic area as an option. Either way, it's just a short walk, so the location is very convenient. After walking 25,000 steps in Wulingyuan, coming out of the scenic area exit and turning left brought me right back to the hotel. People who haven't experienced the comfort of staying at Huanzhi S won't understand this feeling of relief. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer due to my travel plans. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing service - they were very accomodating and patient with us as we only spoke English. Awesome location where it was right next to the East gate entrance. They helped us book our passes to the National park, Grand Canyon and Tianmen Mountain at a discounted price. The facilities are very clean and aesthetic with a relaxing atmosphere. Very generous option in the breakfast buffet selection. Very tidy and clean room a d service. We had fun playing with the voice activation to turn the light on/off and opening/closing the blinds 😆. Definitely would visit again.

Spacious, quiet, and cozy, right next to the east gate of the Forest Park. There's a big wooden door; you can ring the bell or use your room card to enter. Booking tickets through the butler is cheaper. Afternoon tea and late-night congee are available daily, and breakfast is rich and light.

Hotel is just 6 months old and extremely new. Location is just next to popular east gate so after a long day, u can stroll back to the hotel. Butler service is exceptional, particularly our butler 袁平 who took care of all our requests professionally with first class attitude. Afternoon tea time and night supper porridge were nice touches that made the stay even more enjoyable.

Best location near the Avatar Mountains really convenient and we could get to the park without queue and without crowd. The service was also impeccable. The hotel had everything we needed. Even complimentary afternoon tea and especially all our laundry could be washed, ironed and returned to us without any charges, handled by the courteous staff. The room was so modern and aesthetic and children friendly with the tent and comfortable pillows and amenities. Best stay in Zhang Jia Jie. We managed to visit the Avatar mountains and also the Grand Canyon during our stay. Hotel handles all travel packages and itineraries before hand seamlessly via WeChat. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

I’ve been travelling in China for 4 months now and this is by far the best hotel I’ve stayed in since I’ve arrived. The room was extremely clean and modern. The customer service was also top notch and they really try their best to make sure you are well taken care of. When I arrived they were kind enough to upgrade my room and even took the time to get me a map of Zhangjiajie National Park when they found out I intended to visit. They also spent time drawing out a route for me and explaining the best routes through the park and helped me get discounted tickets for entry, the in-park buses, elevators and lifts. They also give a complimentary cocktail at the hotel bar and the bartender was very welcoming and even helped take me to the washroom when I suddenly had a nosebleed. If I visit Zhangjiajie again I’ll definitely come back and book this hotel!

Truly one-of-a-kind property with an absolute gem of a team. We stayed for three nights and found the rooms very comfortable, with a delicious breakfast each morning. We made sure to spend one full day doing nothing but relaxing at the hotel, enjoying the complimentary afternoon tea and the comforting good-night porridge. A special thank you to Eva, who helped us plan our three-day visit to the national parks and even assisted with our airport drop-off for our onward journey. Special mention as well to Xiao Ou, who was always a wonderful part of our stay at FunGee and took care of every query with ease and a smile. We truly look forward to more stays at FunGee properties in the future.

I had an amazing and comfortable stay at Fungee S Hotel. Staff was very kind and hospitable. Room was luxurious and comfortable. Breakfast bar was well serviced. Would recommend to all travellers :)

Highly Recommended: 1) Excellent location, very convenient for attractions. Just a 2-3 minute walk straight ahead, then turn right, and you're at the entrance. 2) The staff are very welcoming and provide tour route suggestions. The hotel also offers a complimentary snack platter. 3) Breakfast isn't extensive, but it's sufficient, tasty, and well-curated (small but exquisite). 4) The facilities are relatively new. Opened in '25, and there's genuinely no strange odor. Plus, the air conditioning/heating works very well. Areas for Improvement: 1) Our room was on the second floor, and a small part of the window looked out onto a wall and rooftop. While it didn't block the light, there were some杂物 (miscellaneous items/clutter) visible on the rooftop behind the wall. I had requested a specific type of room, but upon arrival I was given a different one. It was still perfectly fine; however, I would have preferred the room I had originally mentioned. Overall, everything was okay. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The only downside for me was the breakfast. There weren’t many options suitable for Europeans. Most of the food was cooked and quite spicy in the morning, which is unusual for me. Even so, I might have eaten something simple like rice, but everything was spicy. The options were basically limited to eggs and milk; there wasn’t even jam available. Apart from that, the stay was pleasant.
