location was good, a nice 10-15 min walk from the cableway station which felt safe to walk down at both midday and sunset.
i used the station pick-up at the start of my stay and the host was on time and we found eachother within the minute. i didn’t get her name otherwise i would’ve mentioned her specifically for being an amazing host, see our conversation in the photos attached. at the end of my stay, the host (different person) was too busy to drop me off at the station so paid for my taxi there which was nice. hotel is a 10-15 min drive from station
breakfast was good on the first day, delivered to my room by the woman that picked me up, was a sandwich with fried egg, cheese slice, bacon slices, and lettuce all inside, + fruit and coffee, on the second day it was a different worker who was busy or forgot to make my breakfast until 15 mins later, was just a sandwich with one fried egg and about 5 lettuce leaves + fruit and coffee so not as nice as the first day but okay.
the room was very clean, no mold or uncleanliness anywhere even sparkling clean shower and sink, curtains are electric so you pull it a little and it’ll pull itself shut which i liked. toilet is electric / automatic with a remote i didn’t use except the flush button. only problem was the heating didn’t work and i couldn’t figure out how to turn the air conditioning off so i was freezing at night. even though i would have a hot shower every few hours + hot tea and a hot water bottle, i am now a little sick with a cold so hopefully they fix that- i think they tried while i was there but didn’t manage to fix it. bed was comfy, hairdryer was hot, 24/7 hot water, kettle worked fast, drinking water and tea bags provided
the host that picked me up also helped me order takeaway and let me play piano in the daytime which was nice, her cat joined me and fell asleep on the piano while i was playing.😊
tienmen mountain was amazing and the hotel was within the free pick-up zone for a zhangjiajie national park tour.e
