SsteelbossI often stay in this hotel near an industrial park where I have some business. This is a great option to avoid a 30-minute drive to downtown Zhangjiagang, where costs are higher. The hotel is very clean and the beds are super-duper comfy. The front office staff consistently exudes charm and approachability. There is gated free parking behind the hotel, and there are many small local restaurants. My only issue with this hotel is that sometimes the smell of cigarrets is present in the rooms. Even if you have a non-smoking room, you may get smoke through the shared AC ducts, and that is not cool. In any case, this hotel offers deals that are hard to refuse, with all things said and done.

The room was clean and tidy, no smell, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were complete. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the work efficiency is high, the health and service are online, the price is very high, I will choose this one next time!

I stayed at Jiyang Lake Hotel a few years ago for a relative's wedding banquet. This time, a friend from out of town was visiting Zhangjiagang on their way back, so I quickly brought them here. Compared to the ubiquitous Zhangjiagang Marriott and similar hotels, I have a higher regard for local luxury hotel brands in Zhangjiagang. My previous experience at the Zhangjiagang Sunshine Peninsula was already quite good, but this time, experiencing the Zhangjiagang Jiyang Lake Hotel has elevated my opinion of high-end hotels in Zhangjiagang to a whole new level. In short: Jiyang Lake Hotel truly deserves its status as a top-tier regional hotel.
The environment is elegant and unique. The manor-style hotel is situated on the shores of Jiyang Lake, adjacent to convenient facilities such as a commercial complex. Guests enjoy a private garden. Located in the heart of the port city, the courtyard landscape features bridges and flowing water, offering a tranquil and picturesque setting.
The accommodations were comfortable, and I slept soundly all night. The overall environment was comfortable (the bed was very soft, and the service details, such as the pillows, were excellent; even the assistant manager at the lobby, Xiao Zu, thoughtfully inquired about my and my friend's pillow preferences – a huge plus!), and the environment was extremely quiet and peaceful.
The service was top-notch, unparalleled. A hotel's service isn't just about its hardware facilities; its soft services are far more important and lasting. I was delighted to personally experience the high-end service of the housekeeping team at the Jiyang Lake Hotel. From pre-check-in care (answering questions), check-in instructions, housekeeping, and check-out assistance, every step reflected meticulous and sincere service. Upon check-in, there were small toys and welcome snacks. After checking out, my friend who was visiting Zhangjiagang expressed high praise and approval. Because he had forgotten his clothes in his room, the hotel's professional team discovered the problem quickly, contacted us promptly, and resolved it that same day (⭐️front desk staff member Qian Yihao followed up throughout the process). This experience further solidified my appreciation for this Chinese courtyard hotel.
Finally, I want to commend Xiao Zu, the assistant manager of the lobby at Jiyang Lake Hotel, again. He was incredibly enthusiastic and professional, providing warm and attentive service that made me feel truly cared for. Thank you to the dedicated, hardworking, and professional staff member – Xiao Zu⭐️⭐️⭐️!

MMr 林New. Modern. Simple. Easy. The front desk also has a Costa Coffee service. Ideal. The check in was almost instant with no extra questions. I had to change the initial room due to excessive cigarettes smoke smell. The new room was perfect. The floor was clean and no sticky, a pleasure for naked feet. And everything new. The washing clothes is near the lobby, 20 min fast wash with 20 min hot drying, and for the time of a sipping coffee and some phone browsing, clothes were clean and dry, by the free of any charge. I will surely stay there again. I have almost forgot the breakfast: nothing to brag about. But you’ll fill your belly. Good luck!

GGuest UserThis whole season completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel was remodeled last year, but did not feel any smell. The front desk was warm and active, the room was quite big and equipped with a refrigerator. The room was also good, it looked very clean and tidy without smell. Although breakfast can not be compared with four stars and five stars, I feel that there are many choices, freshly cooked noodles glutinous rice noodles, coffee milk juice and small boxed yogurt, two days of breakfast is a bit different. In short, I feel very good, I am willing to recommend it to friends.

GGuest UserI came here for an exam. The location is good. There is a shopping mall nearby and there are many places to eat. The room is quite big, but the air conditioning is not very good. It is a bit cold at night. You need to swipe your card to go upstairs. If you order takeout, you can go downstairs to get it. There is a good wifi signal.
