Although they didn't have to they, without any financial surplus, changed our booking to a date later because of illness. The hotel has an air of grandeur, takes you back on time in a mostramos agreable way. The restaurant is really good also.

The hotel, which has own, free parking for cars is a bit out of the center, however ideal location if you want to visit both the city center (easy to get there with publoc transport) and the mountains for hiking. (22 mins walking to the cable car) We got a pleasant, clean room equipped with old, classic style furniture. Had well stuffed pillows, comfy beds, silent nights for good sleep. Breakfast is of a good selection of tasty choices and everything gets refilled by constant interaction with the hosts. We also tried the restaurant for dinner and we can only talk highly of the tastes we could experience there. Overall, we had a very nice experience staying at this hotel and would definitely return another time also.

Excellent savory breakfast, with cooked and raw vegetables, eggs, meat, cured meats, cheeses, etc. The sweet part is a little lacking. Free private parking. Large room. The shower head cannot be hung on the wall. The sink rests on a shelf that is too deep, which makes it difficult for people who are not tall to use

It's a very retro hotel, located on a hillside. The environment is great, and the air is very fresh. It's in the northern part of the city, and there aren't many amenities nearby. It's about 10 kilometers from downtown, so transportation isn't very convenient.

The hotel itself is beautiful, almost like an art gallery, with many paintings. The city bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so transportation is very convenient, and the breakfast was really good.

In every way, the basics were provided, and the hotel atmosphere was old-fashioned, so it was very refreshing~

克羅地亜自駕遊好地方,遠離市區安靜,特別是復古設計,房間非常整洁舒服。酒店員很好,早餐豐富,下次也會再來。

This is a wonderful family owned hotel that we would absolutely stay at again (I believe it has been owned by the same family for almost 200 years). We stayed in the Elizabeta Room. Our room was spacious and clean. The room had a historic feel with the decor, but it was still modern and comfortable. There was a nice sitting area in the room with chairs, a couch, desk and coffee table. The bathroom was also spacious with a nice deep soaking tub. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was friendly and we had no difficulties communicating in English with them. Breakfast had a variety of options to fill us up to start the day. The hotel itself is beautiful with historic pictures and items throughout all of the common areas. Their family owned restaurant is right across the street which was delicious and convenient. One night we went to the front desk and asked if it was okay for us to get our dinner for carry-out. The man at the front desk gave us a menu, asked what we wanted, and then delivered the food to our room when it was ready which was a nice surprise. We had expected to go over and order for ourselves and carry it back ourselves so the extra customer service was really nice. Note that it's not in the historic center of Zagreb so you'll need to drive if that's where you'll be heading each day. We had a car so this wasn't a problem for us. It was only about a 5 minute drive. They had a parking lot for guests which was nice and convenient. We loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at this unique hotel during our visit to Zagreb on the Croatia tour, and it was a truly wonderful experience. We arrived right around dinner time and were greeted by the owner with a champagne toast and several members of the group participated in opening and uncorking the bottle. He showed us his private museum filled with books featuring recipes from around the world, paintings, and cooking utensils—really interesting! We were then treated to a delicious home-cooked dinner, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The hotel's rooms and hallways are spectacularly beautiful with their period decor (19th century), worthy of being photographed... quite an experience!

Fabulous family-run hotel. We, 12 of us, were greeted with the utmost kindness, even offering a welcome drink outside in the restaurant's garden. We ate well, and the owner explained the history of his family, who have owned the hotel for five generations. Thanks also to all the other staff, who were truly lovely. Well done everyone, you welcomed us like family...🔝

Old hotel, full of references from the past! It's like going back in time: beautiful stairs, huge room, big bathroom. Full breakfast served in a beautiful room! Excellent check-in service! Very attentive and helpful staff!

The hotel is located on the edge of the city. Inside you imagine yourself in a beautiful museum with many antiques and paintings. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Unfortunately the building had a lot of noises at night, from the air conditioning, refrigerator and the flushing of the toilet. One of the lamps in the bathroom did not work. The breakfast could have had a more luxurious look, instead of for example jam and yoghurt in disposable packaging.
