We enjoyed our two night stay at Hilton Sanqingshan. The hotel was quiet and some of its restaurants are not open at present due to reduced tourist numbers. The room was impeccably clean however and the hotel staff did their best to help us coordinate our day trip to see the mountain and to arrange our transfer back to our train. The village is very quiet but the locals are incredibly friendly and eager to welcome tourists from the cities and overseas to show off the amazing beauty of the area.

The hotel is very close to the Jinsha Cableway, just a 5-minute walk away. The hotel rooms are also very clean and tidy. The store service is also very good, and they carefully explained the tour route to us, which is really good for lazy people like us who never make a guide. Even if we don’t know how to go up the mountain, we can always call the boss to consult the tour route. The boss is like a living map. The boss also cooks good dishes and the taste is very good. The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to the mountain cableway. You can take the hotel elevator to the fifth floor and walk about 100 meters to the entrance of the scenic spot. The hotel looks good, but the furniture and facilities are a bit old and the lights are dim. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is enough. The hotel officially claims to have Taoist connotations. I have a deep understanding of this from the hotel decoration, courtyard, aisles, especially the aisle leading to the restaurant (Figure 5 and Figure 6). Highly recommend this hotel.

If it rains on the day of hiking, the B&B has raincoats and waterproof shoe covers available for purchase at reasonable prices. Trekking poles for climbing the mountain are provided free of charge in the store. When we were about to go out, the boss stopped us, took a map, and explained in detail the recommended route. It rained on the day of the mountain climbing. After the boss explained it, he took the initiative to drive us to the ropeway entrance. This service really has nothing to say about it. Oh, by the way, you can try the boiled rice noodles for breakfast in the store to warm your stomach before going up the mountain. I really think it's delicious. This B&B is very close to the cableway entrance to the mountain. It can be reached in ten minutes at most. From the window of the room, you can see the cable car going back and forth on the ropeway, which is quite fun. Overall, I recommend everyone to book this B&B! Super recommended!
