Wang Sanqing B&B

The room was a bit small; I could barely open my 28-inch suitcase. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This guesthouse is quite a distance from Mount Sanqing, about a 40-minute drive. However, the resort environment is perfect for a family to slowly enjoy their vacation.

This guesthouse is nestled in the Shenxian Valley, and the surroundings are absolutely stunning – every step offers a new beautiful view. The service is also excellent, they cater to every request. The experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. Plus, there are three super cute kittens that love to roam around you!

Every guesthouse in the Wang series perfectly embodies the local natural characteristics of its surroundings. From every angle, you can catch a glimpse of Sanqing Mountain, with the light and weather acting as its backdrop. The room facilities and service are excellent. Staying here allows you to experience the natural beauty of the mountains and waters while enjoying top-notch service. It's a truly comfortable stay.

This hotel is the closest to the Waishuangxi cable car, boasts a great environment, and is quite expansive. Taking a stroll around the property is a delight. Both the cabins and the round log houses are very comfortable, though you might encounter small insects, especially during winter.

This is a fantastic homestay, a perfect blend of art and mountain living. Even though it's the off-season, its beauty is undeniable. The homestay is built into the mountainside and features mountains, water, a library, an art gallery, and a handicraft workshop... The staff, both young ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly helpful. They even went out of their way to pick us up and drop us off at the bus stop, which saved us the hassle of transferring after taking the high-speed train. I'd love to come back when the weather's warmer to enjoy the water activities again.

Our stay at this hotel was the most wonderful experience of our trip to China. ❤️✨ I recommend staying multiple nights, as it allows you to relax in nature and experience Chinese culture! The friendly staff, the beautiful grounds that evoke Chinese tradition and nature, the wide range of interactive activities like hot springs and calligraphy, and the very friendly cats all made our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Transportation While many people use their cars, we took a taxi from Shangrao Station using a ride-hailing app! The trip took just under an hour and cost 102.21 CNY (approximately 2,200 JPY). On the way back, taxis were hard to come by, so we scheduled one in advance using the app. Room Waking up to the view of the mountains and autumn leaves, I felt like I was in the happiest place on earth. The bed was large, and there was a tea set, kettle, mini-fridge, and speaker. If we had any questions or concerns about the room, we were always able to communicate with the staff via WeChat, and they were always very helpful. ・Hotel Experiences There's a hot spring bath on-site, which you can use once during your stay. The bathtub is huge and has a fantastic atmosphere! At first, the water was too hot, so I had them adjust it, but the cold water came from below, so the temperature at the top didn't change easily. I thought it would have been convenient to have a board or stick to stir the water. We also had the opportunity to try calligraphy and afternoon tea! The calligraphy session was held in a room with an open, Chinese-inspired atmosphere, which was very relaxing. ・Food Breakfast was included, and we were able to enjoy a variety of Chinese-style dishes! We were very satisfied with the noodles, bread, vegetables, fruit, dim sum, and more. Dinner was also available to order separately. The flavors were mild and delicious! It was so big I couldn't finish it, so I took it back to my room for a late-night snack. 😌 ・Sightseeing in the Area On the second day, we went to Wangxian Valley! I couldn't get a ride-hailing app to work, so the staff called a taxi for us both ways. It was just under an hour's drive, and we were thrilled to enjoy the spectacular views and delicious food. We had planned to take other walks and hikes in the area, but the hotel was so good we couldn't resist. ❤️ Once again, this hostel was truly amazing—the facilities, the nature, and, most of all, the staff! Thank you so much for being so kind to us, even though we don't speak Chinese. I'd love to come back here again for another relaxing trip surrounded by nature. 🇨🇳

At the foot of Sanqing Mountain, I found a heavenly guesthouse where I could sleep amidst the clouds! "Seeking the Clouds and Mist" truly lives up to its name. I was awakened by birdsong, and upon opening my eyes, I was greeted by rolling green mountains. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire mountain forest like an oil painting. Sitting by the window, I could watch the clouds and mist slowly drift through the valley. My favorite part was the lazy afternoon sunbathing in the room. Brewing a pot of local high-mountain tea, paired with delicate snacks, it felt like the hustle and bustle of the world was completely shut out. The room's details showed meticulous craftsmanship. The natural wood tones were warm and comfortable, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The guesthouse's common areas were also incredibly photogenic. A bamboo courtyard, a mountain-view terrace, a stream, and a stone bridge—on sunny days it's like an ink painting; on rainy days it's like a fairyland. Every corner was to my liking! If you're looking for a place to unwind, this art retreat hidden in the valley will definitely give you a perfect sense of healing.
