Saint Hostel

Great for kids! The room was spacious and quite clean, and they even had some snacks. The hotel is right by the old street, so shopping and grabbing a bite to eat were super convenient. We had a wonderful time and are already planning our next trip!

This stay at Chaohsing Travel, right next to Beigang Chaotian Temple, was an incredibly satisfying experience overall. The most unbeatable aspect is definitely its location; you just head downstairs and turn the corner, and you're at Chaotian Temple and the bustling old street. It's incredibly convenient whether you want to visit the temple early in the morning or explore for food at night. As for the room, it was spacious and very clean. The bed provided ample support, ensuring a great night's sleep. While the hotel is positioned as more minimalist and not as lavish as a star-rated hotel, all the basic amenities are well-provided. I especially recommend it for family trips; the large room types comfortably accommodate elderly guests and children, and the underground parking lot makes access easy for those traveling by car. My only small note is that the room's soundproofing is somewhat affected by the environment; you might hear the lively temple festivities early in the morning. However, this is also part of Beigang's unique cultural atmosphere. If you're looking for great value for money and want to deeply experience the local religious pulse, this is definitely the best choice.

Good value for money hotel.

During my stay, the air conditioning in the room stopped working at one point. After I reported it, the staff arrived immediately and resolved the issue quickly, which made for a great overall experience.

The location is very close to Chaotian Temple, and since we happened to be there during a pilgrimage, we could still hear the firecrackers from the room. Car traffic was also affected, with people having to stop, wait, and take detours. The parking lot has enough spaces and a clear layout. There were no other chairs in the room, only the bed. The staff were very friendly.

The front desk staff provided detailed explanations, and the room was clean! The location next to Beigang Chaotian Temple is very easy to find! There are plenty of parking spaces in the underground parking lot! Overall, it's excellent. The only drawback is that the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower and toilet area!

A simple night's sleep, no need to be too picky. Room cleanliness could be improved; there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. The bed was comfortable, not too hard! The toilet seat and toilet paper were too close together; people with back problems might strain their backs. The three-bedroom, one-living room concept is alright! No need for an alarm clock in the morning; the sound of firecrackers outside is the alarm! The hotel location is very convenient; there are restaurants and drinks right downstairs. Parking is also convenient; you can park until 1 PM the next day.
