Baisha Pine Retreat · Private Villa with Snow Mountain & Golden Peak View

This hotel was unexpectedly great! It was clean, hygienic, and had a unique, very upscale decor. The owners were incredibly welcoming and even arranged free charging for our electric car. The whole experience was superb. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance, it's perfect for a getaway!

Absolutely superb! I already reviewed it last time. The ambiance is elegant, and the service is just right – not overly intrusive but always helpful and responsive. For breakfast, they have noodles, rice noodles, millet porridge, and more. I stayed for two nights in total, and I'd definitely go back if I get the chance.

This ancient town is lovely and very quiet, definitely worth a stay. Compared to Lijiang, this town is much more tranquil and perfect for just relaxing and doing nothing. It's also conveniently located about an hour's drive from Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is pretty reasonable.

The two handsome owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The room was surprisingly spacious and the facilities were excellent. The plants in the courtyard were meticulously arranged, adding a very charming touch. The hotel offers a fantastic view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, but unfortunately, due to the weather, we didn't get to see the 'golden mountain bathed in sunlight' (Rizhao Jinshan).

The service was excellent, the environment beautiful, and the breakfast, including the congee, noodles, and rice vermicelli, was all delicious. I stayed for three nights and was very satisfied!

The path from Lijiang Old Town to the B&B is a bit narrow in some sections. Our Didi driver actually dropped us off less than 200 meters from the B&B, making us walk the rest of the way ourselves! Honestly, those 200 meters weren't actually that bad. The B&B owner apologized when he found out and upgraded our room! The room I originally booked already exceeded my expectations, but the upgraded room on the second floor was even more beautiful. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see mountains and fields. The rooftop terrace offered expansive views, and occasionally you could catch a glimpse of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain's peak, though unfortunately, the clouds were too thick and there was no snow on the top. The B&B service was incredibly nice. The two young men working there were also very enthusiastic, not only helping us with our luggage but also giving us detailed recommendations for good restaurants and unique cafes nearby. They even gave us some fruit. The B&B is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town. The breakfast at the B&B was also very clean and exquisite!
