The place is a bit far from the Yufuin station. It was a long walk. Recommend to take a taxi which costs about ¥750. There are private and public onsen to choose from. The public one has better view. Dinner and breakfast were good.

Very Good

A short trip and we decided to check our Mosoeun. Good hotel and the onsen especially the private outdoor onsen was the one we enjoyed the most.

Good: I love the open air onsen. However, when I was in the onsen (naked) there was a Korean lady who was taking photographs with her cell phone. The room itself is small and lovely. Bad: I wanted to say it’s cleaned. BUT, there was a sharp needle on the floor in my room (see photo). I stepped on it and it got stuck into my foot! It’s very dangerous and I didn’t know how their cleaning crew could kiss it! Not very service-oriented. Almost never returned email. When my email was finally returned, the attitude was quite stuck up. This place is famous for its onsen. Could it be they got too full of themselves?

The both the indoor and outdoor onsens for the ladies were superb, not sure about the men’s, but there’re two outdoor onsens for guys. Location is quite easy to find if you’re driving, might need to take a taxi otherwise as it’s not walkable. Food was just ok, but the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Very beautiful hot spring hotel, the Chinese lady at the front desk is super nice. After shopping and eating in the evening, I found that tea, hot water and snacks were all prepared, which made me feel very satisfied. I recommend this barbecue restaurant at the entrance of Kinrin Lake, it is delicious and not expensive, the beef and grilled mushrooms are superb. I like this hotel and town very much, I will go there again next time I have the chance

The courtyard design is great. The men's and women's open-air hot springs are the best outdoor hot springs after visiting many Japanese hot spring hotels. There is a commercial street around. If you don't eat in the hotel, you need to make a reservation outside in advance. If you are late, you can only eat casually. You can reach the commercial street within 1,000 yen.

It was a hot spring used in the summer, but it wasn't hot because there were a lot of trees around, and I felt happy because of the wind blowing! I tried to take a hot spring at dawn, but the private hot spring was lukewarm, so I had no choice but to go to the large bathhouse. I saw moss here and there on the rocks, and there was a sign saying Wednesday was the weekly cleaning day, so I guess it was because it was time for cleaning. Both breakfast and dinner were clean and delicious. The portions were just right. Just enough to fill me up. The servers were friendly, which was nice! I could have bought more beer, but the counter closed at 9, so it seemed like it was only possible before then. The main building was a little old, but it wasn't uncomfortable. However, the bedding was a type of folding mat with a cover wrapped around it, and the covers were all up while I was sleeping, so it was a little uncomfortable. It wasn't a blanket, so it was a little uncomfortable. The hot spring itself was very good. I had a nice private hot spring bath!

Overall, I was satisfied with this ryokan. However, I was a little upset because the staff's proficiency in English was low, and some people got irritated and angry when they did not understand English well. Still, I recommend it as it is a well-maintained ryokan.

In a word, if you like hot springs, you must not miss it. The women-only outdoor hot spring is simply a paradise on earth. There are more than eight hot spring areas in the hotel, so people are not spread out and they don't get together to soak together. Hot springs and private family baths, definitely next time

The room was nice, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. I don't know the name, but the person in charge at the restaurant was very kind to us. Thank you so much.

I accidentally booked a super big room! The front desk has Chinese service, the waiters in the store are very friendly to children, and the waiters in the restaurant are also very nice and loving. The room is really big, haha, it can accommodate two families... This place is still far from the station, and you can only take a taxi. If you go to and from Yufuin Train Station, it costs 800 yen to go up the mountain and 750 yen to go down the mountain. Anyway, it costs 800 yen to send luggage at the train station, so you might as well take a taxi up the mountain to put your luggage, and then walk one kilometer down the mountain to visit Yufuin. This hotel is suitable for not going anywhere after you come, just lie down, walk around the garden, drink coffee, and soak in the hot springs

It was truly a perfect accommodation!!! The location is 5 minutes by taxi (800 yen) from Yufuin Station. It's about a 20-minute walk. The room was clean and the staff were all friendly! Wherever I went in the accommodation, it was pretty and green! Above all, I liked the hot springs the best. The family bath can be used for about 1 hour. It was more empty than I expected, so I was able to use it right away when I wanted. The women’s public bath was spacious, clean, and really nice~~ The best moment of the trip was the hot springs. I loved that the accommodation was perfect!🫶

A super hot spring hotel, a perfect experience, with two indoor hot springs, three large outdoor hot springs, and four family hot springs. Remind the restaurant to make a reservation in advance on the hotel website, otherwise it is likely to be full. Because it is on the mountain, there are no restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It takes half an hour to walk to the station and the town. The hotel's specialty pudding is delicious!
