Both breakfast and dinner are considered very good. It is a set Japanese meal. Both indoor and outdoor Onsen are very big and also with private one. Driving to the hotel is best option even it is very closed to Yufuin street. P/S the hotel are very near to Kirin lake.

The hotel itself should have been opened in the 1980s, and the interior is relatively old. But it is more cost-effective and has a good large bath and open-air bath. Dinner and breakfast are both traditional and taste good.

Since it is located on a mountainside, it would be difficult to get there without a rental car. Nearby is Mount Dorogo. There are no convenience stores either.
The hotel feels like a very old pension. It's old.
If you just look at the room, I think you can get the feeling that you are experiencing a tatami room at a low price.
The meal is not great. It feels like a wedding hall with galbitang for breakfast and dinner, just a spread of standardized Japanese food.
The large public bath feels like an old, large public bath. The outdoor hot spring is nice because you can see the sky and the mountains.
If it's really cheap, it's worth a visit, but if not, it's a bit of a waste of money.

The building is old and the ventilation inside is poor.

Where time stays.
Although it is not a state-of-the-art facility, it has an old feel.

everything is rotten
I arrived an hour early, so I went to the lobby to ask if I could park my car in the parking lot, but the entrance was closed.
When I saw the decaying building, I thought it had gone out of business.
After some time, I was able to get in safely, but the ceiling and floor of the changing room were peeling off and there was a warning sign. Discontinued use.
The wallpaper in your room was peeling off, and the hallway was dark and scary.
It seems that it used to be a public facility, but everything has decayed and it will go out of business next year! ? It was a facility that made me think

I went on a trip with my parents, and although it was far from Yufuin Station (about 10 minutes by car), the shuttle service was arbitrary. On the day I was leaving, they said there was no shuttle service, so I asked them to call a taxi, and they said they couldn't call me a taxi because there weren't many taxis. I took a bus (not that they tried and said no), but the bus was very inconvenient because there were a lot of people and huge luggage. If the shuttle service was this arbitrary, it would have been nice to have at least allowed taxis to arrive. The room is clean but overall very old. The guests were diverse, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

I didn't know there was such a facility because it was a place where I entered a little from the main road. This is my first time using it. It was a good deal because I checked in on Friday using the National Travel Assistance. The building was on a slope, the front desk was on the 4th floor, and the guest room was on the 2nd floor. It was a strange feeling that meals and hot springs climbed from the room to the upper floor. It used to be a public lodging, so I felt that the building was a little old with only one elevator. The room was spacious. The food may be inferior to the inns around here, but there was no shortage of quantity. Various sites said that meals were served in a tatami room, so I stopped wearing a yukata and made my own jersey, which was the correct answer. In December, when the temperature was low nationwide, the hot water in the open-air bath gets cold, so please use only the indoor bath. I think that the bathroom is large.
