Yufuin Onsen Hinoharu Ryokan

Great! The night before, I told them I wasn't good with fish, and the next morning they thoughtfully changed my meal to something else. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It wasn't crowded either. The private hot spring was absolutely divine! Overall, I give it a solid thumbs-up. My verdict: See you next time!

The location is convenient, right near Yunotsubo Street. The hotel staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The room with a private bathroom was comfortable and clean.

The staff here were excellent; they explained all the hotel facilities in detail during check-in. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very well-maintained, clean, and tidy! The traditional Japanese breakfast was exquisite, with every dish beautifully presented.

I booked this onsen hotel more than half a year in advance, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The attention to detail was exceptional, truly impeccable. Having stayed at many beautiful onsen hotels in Japan, this was probably the best experience I've had! The hotel is right in the middle of Yufuin's main shopping street and offers free parking, which was the only place we found free parking during our Kyushu trip. Both breakfast and dinner were served in a private room. Before each meal, someone meticulously introduced every dish to us and even helped take photos – a truly ceremonial experience!

The hotel is a bit far from the station and there's no public transport available, so you have to walk about 15 minutes. However, it's located right next to the hot spring street, with plenty of shops to browse along the way, and it's only a 10-minute walk from Lake Kinrin. The room also had thoughtful amenities like body lotion and moisturizing cream.

This hotel offers a very peaceful ambiance. It's located right off the main road and very close to Lake Kinrin. I booked the 'one-night two-meals' package, and the Kaiseki dinner was incredibly exquisite. We had a dedicated room attendant, making the experience and comfort top-notch. The hotel boasts three private onsens and one public onsen, plus my room came with its own private hot spring. The attendant was very attentive, always making and tidying the futon whenever there was a moment. Though pricey, it was absolutely worth it!
