ibis Styles York Centre

Even though it's a basement room, it offers great value for money and is only about a ten-minute walk from York Station. The front desk staff were also very welcoming. What I liked most was the room layout; the full-length mirror was very convenient, and the space felt much larger than I expected. On the second day, after checking out, I left my luggage at the hotel, which was perfect for a half-day tour of York – what a lovely city!

This was a nice hotel in a central location. The room was spacious and clean. It has parking for about 20 cars, which costs £15 per day. The breakfast was also good.

The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The breakfast restaurant had a nice atmosphere with a wide variety of options. The location was convenient, very close to Micklegate Bar. The front desk staff were welcoming, and luggage storage was £1 per item.

Breakfast was okay, not a huge variety. The bedding and towels were clean. However, the room's floor felt slanted to one side, and even the bed frame and mattress were tilted. Since I was staying alone for just two days, I was too tired and lazy to bother switching rooms.

The room was decent and quiet. The location is super convenient, really close to the train station, bus stop, and York Minster. You can easily walk to all the attractions within the old York walls since it's not that big. Breakfast was plentiful.
