Delta Hotels by Marriott York

We’ve stayed at Delta Hotels York multiple times now, and it continues to be a fantastic choice every single visit. This was our 6th stay, and once again, it was a solid 10/10 experience. The hotel is always spotless—super clean and tidy throughout—which makes a big difference the moment you walk in. The room service is top-notch, and everything feels well thought out and well maintained. We especially appreciated the welcoming amenities in the room, including a great selection of coffee and the Ninja coffee pod machine, which was a lovely touch. The rooms and bathrooms are impressively spacious, with plenty of room to relax comfortably. It never feels cramped, which really adds to the overall experience. The staff are consistently friendly, polite, and genuinely helpful, making every stay smooth and enjoyable. Another big plus for us is the leisure facilities—the jacuzzi and pool are a great bonus and perfect for unwinding. On top of that, the on-site parking is safe, convenient, and reasonably priced, which is one of the main reasons we keep choosing this hotel when visiting York. Overall, a reliable and welcoming place that never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again.

As we entered the hotel there was a lovely fresh aroma. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. We booked a grandstand king size room which was spacious and nicely furnished. The bathroom was also spacious and had a bath with shower and also a separate shower. There were shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash included. Tea and coffee was also provided alongside a pod coffee machine, and a couple of cartons of complimentary still water. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna area were nicely presented. The only downside was children running around and screaming and splashing, but that's not the hotel's fault, it's the parent's, lol. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of items, such as fruit, yogurt, cereals, cooked items, fruit juices and tea/coffee. All in all we had a wonderful time here.

Room was good, loved that the leisure centre was open till late so could get time at the pool and jacuzzi even after sight seeing. Breakfast was great, nice continental selection, and a picturesque view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A potential improvement could be the hot water control in the shower - ours was a Deluxe room with bath. The temperature was either scalding hot or ice cold - there was no in-between.

Facilities are old, some even broken, swimming pool/lexues center very small and very crowded during holiday which I believe they could manage it better by using a booking system to diversify the guests without going at the same time....

My husband and my daughter had a wonderful time staying in hotel. They went to the pool twice and they enjoyed it very much.

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite. 5 stars from me!

A fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. Staff were very helpful. Room was perfect. The pool area gets busy however opening hours are great.
