I stayed the night before and the hotel cafe was open to me as a study space in the morning, which was really helpful.

Truly excellent hotel, right next to Shin-Yokohama Station.
A tip for getting there: take the Shinkansen exit and walk straight across the plaza to the smaller side street, rather than walking towards the McDonalds.
Hotel itself is wonderful and is probably the nicest smelling hotel I've ever stayed in.
The Japanese-style room is pretty cool, as is the breakfast in the restaurant "Gin".
