Hotels in Luodong Town, Yilan

We stayed in an Economy Twin Room. The industrial design was quite distinctive. For the specific room my family and I occupied, if you're sharing with friends or someone you're not romantically involved with, you'll definitely want to draw the internal bathroom curtain (which covers both the toilet and shower) to avoid any awkward direct views from the bed. Additionally, it's important to know that the bathroom door consists of two semi-transparent sliding glass panels and doesn't have a lock. The glass isn't very opaque, so those who prefer more privacy might feel a bit exposed or uncomfortable. While the door directly faces a wall, which isn't too bad, it can be a little unsettling if your companion is coming in or out of the room (especially from the right side)... though perhaps some might find it 'stimulating'? On the whole, the most crucial aspect was how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The sheets, mattress, duvet, and pillows all perfectly met our preferences. The decor was also lovely, making the entire stay feel exceptionally pleasant.

Overall, it was pretty good. **Cleanliness**: Very clean. **Environment**: They even provide bottled water, it would be perfect if there was a scale. **Service**: Still very enthusiastic. One thing to note is that there are three hotels in this building, so pay attention when using the elevator!

This time I found a hotel on short notice and used trip. No parking fee was added. It's acceptable to charge an additional 100 on site. The parking lot is about 300 meters away and you have to cross the level crossing. It is not far from Luodong Night Market, and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. The room is very comfortable, with good lighting, a good bed and no odor, and a small balcony The dry and wet separation in the bathroom is great, but the fragrance in the bathroom is too strong, I don't like it In addition, the bath towel is too thick, it hurts to wipe the body, it is recommended to change it Finally, the sound insulation is not very good, and you can hear the noise of the children next door at night Fortunately, I am a deep sleeper so it doesn't affect me. People who are sensitive to sound may need to consider this. Overall, there is nothing to complain about the price. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the bath towel. I would still give it 8 out of 10.

Clean hotel that shares a building with other offices and hotels. This hotel spans 2 floors, and offered a nice spacious room for 4 of us. The breakfast was ok with a homely feeling talking to local tourists as well. The location is within walking distance to the local night market and eateries.

The boss is very nice and there is Netflix. I slept till dawn. It's great! W3 Hostel is conveniently located, clean and comfortable, with a simple and modern design style and friendly and enthusiastic service staff. It is suitable for backpackers and short-term accommodation, and has a high cost-effectiveness

Located away from the main B&B building so staff require advance notice to check you in (we contacted them via WhatsApp as we did not have a Taiwan SIM). Super close to the night market in Luodong, walking distance from the train station and new bus station. Bathroom is a wet room design and is functional but getting old, and the room requires ventilation to remove moisture from the bathroom, but all very reasonable for the price.

The hotel is of walking distance to Luo Dong Night Market and the train station, making it very convenient for backpackers on foot. But the hotel has limited parking spaces and is surrounded by narrow and busy roads, which can be frustrating for drivers. The room is clean and the buffet breakfast is not bad.

This was my second stay at this affordable hotel. They offer 6-person rooms, which are perfect for family trips. Although the facilities are a bit dated, the place is clean and well-maintained. The water pressure was a bit weak, but tolerable. My only disappointment was that the included Chinese breakfast was temporarily replaced with a $65 Mos Burger voucher, which required us to go to a designated Mos Burger outlet and pay extra to redeem. Overall, given its convenient location near Luodong Night Market and the availability of free parking, the hotel offers excellent value for money. The savings mean we can indulge in more local snacks, making it highly suitable for budget-conscious families.

Highlight is definitely the common room, very comfy and set up in a way which is ideal for playing games together and getting to know new people. Beds are comfy with curtains and showers and bathrooms are clean. Bicycles are also available, really convenient way to grab a quick snack, since the hostel is admittedly not in super short walking distance to many things. Great place to stay in Yilan.

It's quite dated but literally right on the night market. There was bad smell in the room which needed to be treated with deodorant. The deodorant was so strong that it was almost intolerable. We asked for a room change and they only offered to change to a smaller one next door which was equally smelly. The parking facility is not that great. You will have to use the very small elevator to park in a very small space. The only plus is the staff at the breakdast. They were very nice and polite.
