Dong Shan He Inn

The hotel is very close to the Qingshui Park, which is super convenient when traveling with kids. It's also a short drive to Luodong Night Market. We bought food back and ate it in the common area, avoiding the crowds at the night market. The bed was large and very comfortable. The owner even prepared bananas for us because they knew we were running a marathon. Thank you, boss!

We had originally booked a room for ten people, but upon arrival at the guesthouse, we were very grateful to the manager. They understood our situation and automatically assigned us to different room types, ensuring a better stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, making us feel right at home. Waking up each morning to a home-style breakfast awaited us, starting our day full of energy. We stayed for three days, and to prevent us from getting tired of the food, the friendly auntie prepared a variety of dishes, including Chinese congee and side dishes, dumplings, fried noodles, and toast. They also provided soy milk, coffee, and tea – very thoughtful. The living room was decorated with plush toys that the children loved, and there were toy cars for them to play with in the side room. My brother's child was overjoyed to see the toys and would call out to them every morning. Each time we returned to the guesthouse, they would inquire about our day's itinerary, making us feel very warm and cared for. In the evenings, our family enjoyed a late-night snack and chatted in the living room before heading to our rooms to rest after 9 pm. They were truly very attentive.

The environment here is very quiet and peaceful. The owners of the guesthouse were incredibly accommodating, teaching us how to operate the park's miniature train and helping the children carry their electric cars out to play. The kids had a great time. We chose a five-person room, which was a dormitory-style room. The space was ample, but because it was a dormitory-style room, the beds were a bit firm, and the headboard was a little soft. Otherwise, there weren't any major issues; it was clean and tidy. Breakfast was a Chinese buffet, with porridge, side dishes, toast, soy milk, and coffee. The guesthouse is surrounded by lotus fields.

The guesthouse had a warm atmosphere, just like being at home. We stayed in the 10-person family room, which was spacious and comfortable. The kids had a great time, and the breakfast was simple and delicious. Everyone ate their fill and felt happy.

The environment was fairly clean, and there were electric vehicles available for the kids to ride around. The children enjoyed the rides, and there were small cars for them to drive. It was a relatively quiet place to stay.

Living on the first floor means you'll be bothered by footsteps from the second floor. The door has floor-to-ceiling windows, so soundproofing isn't great. The pillows are the unsupported feather pillow type—if you're prone to stiff necks, I suggest bringing your own pillow. 😂

The room smelled musty, and the bathroom was stuffy. The soundproofing was poor; we could clearly hear the kids running around downstairs at night. In the morning, the entire staircase was covered in cobwebs when we went downstairs. The cleanliness was poor. The only bright spot was that the kids loved riding the little train.
