Walk 5-10 minutes from Hongcun Scenic Area, cross an alley and cross a bridge to the gate under the big tree. The price is much cheaper than the scenic spot, and it is clean and tidy. Hongcun, a commercial village, you can basically go shopping in 2 hours. I personally feel that there is no need to live in the scenic area and listen to the stories of folk houses. It is enough to sit quietly in the Yuezhao teahouse and have a cup of tea.
