Hotels near Hyangilam Hermitage, Yeosu

Fantastic stay in Yeosu – Spacious villas and great service We enjoyed a wonderful 5-night stay (May 14–19, 2026) at the Marine Terrace Pool Villa. This 3-star property is perfectly located on a beautiful bay. We stayed in the Ocean 4 and Marine 4 villas; they were very spacious, featured 2 large beds, and had equipped kitchens. A real highlight was the private pool in each villa, which we could heat to 36°C—the perfect way to relax after days spent hiking and visiting temples. The only downside was that the main swimming pool wasn’t open yet during our visit. The 2 staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Communication via translation apps and gestures worked perfectly well—definitely better than our Korean! It was a pleasure to stay in such a setting; we were the only Western guests among several local Korean families. We highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Yeosu!

This hotel is located in a great position close to the sea, hotel room is clean, the mattress is so nice, thanks to this, I had a great sleep, all the check-in and check-out procedure are smooth, there are a lot of nice restaurants out there, I would like to visit this hotel again next time!

I went on a 2-day business trip to Utop Marina Hotel in Yeosu, and it was such a pleasant experience. The hotel offered a free cocktail and a complimentary yacht tour, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The view of the marina was beautiful, and everything was relaxing from start to finish. Highly recommend it for both business and leisure trips!

The cleanliness was excellent during my stay. The parking lot was spacious and convenient. I plan to use it often. Nangpan Pojangmacha was also within 10 minutes by taxi, which was very convenient.

The location is not too far from the downtown area. It's near but far enough. I had a beautiful view of the harbor and was able to see the sunrise without leaving the room. It is near a convenience store and bus stop. Also a lotte department store. The staff is nice and helpful.

I love it because it’s warm and cozy

Very basic apartment, there is no attraction nearby but there is restaurant within walking distance. The breakfast will send to your doorstep every morning.

The environment is good and above all, it is clean. However, there were no shower towels. When I called the counter and asked, they said they would charge 3,000 won. It was the first time. It was the first time I was charged for shower towels at a hotel~~

“The room is moderately spacious, but it doesn’t have an extra table or chair in case you want to eat. Still, it’s really nice—clean and free from any cigarette smell.”

Everything was fine! But the parking I had to park outside!
