Yea Riverside Caravan Park

Nice room with all amenities. Happy stay

The park was cosy and clean. Some facilities were still being restored and upgraded due to massive flooding in January but the ones available (flushable toilets, hot showers, kitchens, BBQ stations) were very clean because of mostly responsible fellow campers and regular checks/clean from the staff, “Dave The Man”. We were very lucky that majority of fellow campers (mostly families with young children) were friendly and respectful so we had wonderful days and peaceful night sleeps. We saw stars, colourful birds feeding on the fruits on the trees, nearly caught a giant carp and feasted on dangerously delicious pastries from a bakery within walking distance (including a beautiful pub, Foodworks, apparel shops, Rail trail for cyclists etc). Special mention on the staff, Dave and Leanne. Their high levels of professionalism and diligence ensured everyone had a safe and enjoyable stay. Definitely will return!

Clean and spacious cabin with everything I needed for a business visit. Bed was comfortable, and everything was sparkling clean. Easy process for late check-in and early departure. Pod coffee machine, and a decent amount of milk for a couple of cuppas - Lovely thanks!

Great effort to get the park open in time for Easter. So much work has been done . Yes we have to queue up for showers , but overall the park is in lovely condition considering the flooding that was her only a few weeks ago. You emailed us all advising of the disruptions but we still chose to come and so glad we did. Will be back next year

appreciated the spotless amenities, spacious sites both grassed and slab, friendly managers, simple walk to town, pubs and cafes, worth the drive to Kerrisdale Tourist railway although only open on Sundays. Must eat at "the shed" cafe in Trawool

We recently booked 5 nights at this great little caravan park last minute. When we arrived the reception/management staff were very friendly and welcoming. When we were shown our site it was not what we really wanted so they gave us the map of the park so we could check out other sites and we were able to move to a different site. Park is on the river and offers great ammenities, Camp Kitchen, Fire Hut and Pizza oven. The bathroom facilities were very clean and you could see that the staff took pride in maintaining them. The managers at the park were only new and had been there only a few weeks and were doing an amazing job. Unfortunately during our stay there was a major weather event which caused the river to flood the park and we had to evacuate early. The management team offered us a credit for the nights that we lost. Please give this park a go after the floods have receded. It is in a great location, close to town and attractions. We will be back as soon as we can.

The new caretakers are absolutely lovely. Very welcoming and made efforts to converse with the whole family. The park is in good hands now. We are thinking of you and your tough recovery after the recent flood. Hope to visit again soon!

I faced several issues during my stay that made it quite challenging. Firstly, there were discrepancies with my booking - it was changed without proper notice and with some misleading information, and on arrival, despite assurances of a full refund regardless of my decision to stay or not, they are now refusing to honor that commitment. I've initiated disputes in multiple channels to secure what I'm owed. Moreover, the amenities I paid for weren't provided as promised. Despite paying for three powered campsites, I was allocated only one, which was highly inconvenient for a group of 10 people. This oversight disrupted our plans significantly and was not at all acceptable. What made matters worse was the overcrowding and lack of regard for safety. The park seemed to turn a blind eye to illegal camping in common areas, resulting in an uncomfortable and unsafe environment. The overall experience was disappointing, and I have serious doubts about their adherence to safety regulations. In summary, based on my experience, I would strongly advise against choosing this park for anyone's holiday plans. It's crucial to prioritize customer satisfaction, safety, and adherence to commitments, which unfortunately this park failed to do.

Great park, grandkids loved it we will be back! Tight on the river where you can catch all types of fish. Close to town to walk to eat. The amenities are excellent and the camping positions have all you need. the price is good too!
