Although I wrongly booked a Smoking room, front desk staff is willing to change a non-smoking room, she followed me to go back the room to collect luggage and leaded me to the new room. Later, she personally delivered pillows and slippery to my room, excellent service

It's a simple hotel that seems to cater to business people mostly. There's a parking lot, which is very convenient.
For the first time in all the time I've lived in Japan, I asked for residence card, which I thought was odd.

Accessibility was good as there was a bus stop in front of the hotel by taking the airport bus from Kumamoto Airport, and it was located in the center of Yatsushiro city, so you could walk along the Kuma River, the sanctuary including the city hall, Shohenken, and the museum.
It was in a convenient location, including check-in, room key, breakfast voucher, and check-out. I was very satisfied with the breakfast.
The bathroom on the first floor was also clean and well-equipped.

The room was clean
I used the smoking room, but it was nice that there was a refill in the room.
I feel like I only bring the amenities that I will use at the front desk.
However, because the door to the room is thin, you can hear people talking in the hallway and the door going back and forth, which can be a problem late at night.
The staff at the front desk are very kind and give detailed explanations, so it's a pleasant hotel.

I stayed for one night without meals. Both staff members had smiles on their faces and I could feel their genuine care. Although it felt a little old, it was well-maintained, clean, and had a comfortable stay. There was a large public bath, but I didn't have the time, so I used the bath in my room.
