Staying at the Hilton Yantai Golden Coast was an excellent experience! The location is superb, right on the beachfront. Traveling during the off-season, we arrived quite late, but the front desk directly upgraded us to a 270-degree sea view two-bedroom suite. The room was huge and bright, and the sea view was absolutely stunning. The hotel service was also excellent, and they responded promptly to any requests. The pool was a bit chilly but still acceptable. We really enjoyed our two nights here, and if we ever come back to Yantai, we'll definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel is right by the sea. There weren't many guests in May, mostly Korean tourists. Although the room was upgraded to an executive room, it still didn't have a sea view. Apparently, sea-view rooms cost extra. The breakfast was quite rich, with Korean rice cakes and other dishes. The room itself was standard. Soft drinks were chargeable, and my biggest complaint was the lack of self-service laundry machines; laundry came with a fee. The swimming pool was open from 7 AM to 9 PM. When I went at 8:25 PM, it was pretty empty. The staff were very helpful, and the pool facilities were good. Overall, the service was excellent, but the hardware felt a bit old. There were almost no smart devices. The TV was small and couldn't cast, and the curtains were manual. It can't compete with some of the newer budget hotels.
