Hotel the Naksan Reviews

Very good thanks

This is a good place to stay if you come to visit the Raksansa Temple or to swim. The hotel is three years old, so facilities are fairly new. It has a cafe downstairs, waterfront seafood restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance. It has a gym and washing machines and dryers (5000W per cycle for each) at level 2. staffs are friendly - they speak English, one of them Mr Chui speaks Chinese - If I come back to Yangyang, I would consider booking here again.

The hotel has a great location right in front of Naksan Beach (a great beach - lots of white sand). There are restaurants and supermarkets close by and it is a quick taxi ride to the Yangyang airport and Yangyang bus depot. Staff are efficient and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and the rooms, passages and common areas are newly carpeted and newly painted. There is a small gym and laundry room available for use. Most guests seemed to stay only one night which seemed strange, given the great location. The only thing that could be improved upon is some basic facilities in the room. There is no cupboard (although there is enough space for one), only one chair (and its fairly uncomfortable at that) and no furniture on the balcony - we really wanted to sit on the balcony and look at the sea in the evenings, but there is nothing to sit on. At the time that we stayed there (October 2024) there was quite a bit of construction noise as there are hotels being built on either side of the Naksan (although this is not the fault of the hotel itself).

Nice place, nice scenery! The boss is very nice. Although he doesn't speak English well, he used translation software to recommend nearby delicious food to me.

The ocean view is great^^ The soundproofing is good, and the room is just right and clean -.<; There's a Hollys on the first floor, which is convenient~ I'll stay here again next time.

This is a great hotel. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the facilities are very complete. There is a cafe downstairs, a beach in front, and many restaurants nearby. It is very close to Naksansa Temple. I will visit again next time I have the chance.

It was great to have a view of Naksan Beach. The room was smaller than I expected, and the lack of a table or chairs was a bit disappointing. And the balcony didn't have a screen, so I was a bit surprised when I left the door open and mosquitoes came in. The proximity to the beach was excellent, so it was a satisfying trip.

It took a while because the reservation numbers were different, but it was resolved through a phone call to the property. It was conveniently located right in front of the beach, and the view was beautiful. However, there is construction going on nearby, so it can be noisy during the day.

It's close to Naksan Beach, making it a great choice for a family trip. However, it's an older facility, so be mindful of aging facilities and hygiene issues.

I booked a trip to Sokcho a month in advance for my summer vacation. The first day, I arrived and just slept, and the second day was full of things to do, so I left in the morning and came back in the evening, just sleeping, and checked out the next day. However, as soon as I checked into my room on the first day, the slippers I tried to wear were all torn... That was my worst first impression. After that, I inspected the room more closely. There were several stains on the wallpaper, and the carpet inside the room had stains from previous guests. Even the bed sheets inside the blanket had orange stains...? I booked right away based on the good reviews, but I was a little disappointed that I didn't research other places, and I was curious if the other rooms were any better. And the shower... lol. The shower hose broke, not the shower head, but the water came out from both sides. Haha. It was just a total slap in the face... Haha. And even though I didn't shower long, the water didn't drain down the drain because I used a little water. I have a weak stomach, so cleanliness is always my top priority when it comes to accommodations, but this was a complete failure. Even my boyfriend, who's less picky than me, told me not to come back next time... The only good thing was the service of the staff who served us... Please consider the facilities and cleanliness before you visit... I don't usually write posts like this because I'm lazy, but I'm writing this because I feel like I paid too much for the accommodations...

This is a place I visit every vacation. It's always been great this year. There are a lot of good accommodations in the area, and the value, location, cleanliness, and service are all excellent. I'll probably visit again next year. I had a great vacation with my family this year. Thank you.
