As the ancient saying goes, Guilin’s scenery tops those elsewhere, and Yangshuo landscape tops that of Guilin. It was not until I choose the place, Moon Villa, that I found it really worthy of going. The great views from hotel, the outstanding concierge service and the thoughtful tailor-made trip arrangement I gained at Moon Villa surpassed my wildest expectations and I never ever anticipated to love Moon Villa as much as I did. Once stayed with them, I was all in with their one-stop service and I couldn’t picture myself anywhere else if I revisit Yangshuo. From my personal angle alone, the meaning of travel is not how many photos you take but how many heartbeat moments you can remember. Because of Moon Villa’s team and their 24/7 service, I will remember everything without doubt! Goodbye doesn’t mean forever. If it did, we ought to be saying Badbye. Stay cool and KIT. Looking forward to seeing you guys and staying with you guys again in August. This is an awesome hotel!! I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the beautiful scenery, spacious rooms and friendly staff. The view from our balcony was stunning, we were surrounded by mountains and fresh air. The hotel is a little further from west street that I thought (about 10-15 mins by car) but it was worth it. The hotel area is peaceful and quiet and had really lovely pools for the kids to swim in. I would choose to stay here again over being closer to the city. We felt so relaxed here! The breakfast in the hotel is simple but it’s delicious! Try the rice noodles cooked fresh when you order. The staff were always willing to help and they also served afternoon tea each day which was really enjoyable. We ate at the hotel restaurant on the first night and the food was so delicious. Beer fish and rice noodles were among the favourites. I would stay again happily and I was so sad to leave the resort.

The lunch and dinner at your own expense are also very delicious, including light ones, spicy Guilin flavors (beer duck, roast pork with bamboo shoots), and Indonesian flavors. , the price is moderate and slightly expensive. When I go out, a battery car will be delivered to the door of the hotel. It costs about 12 yuan to ask Didi to go to West Street. The hotel has its own free bus to West Street! You have to make a reservation half an hour in advance, so it’s convenient and inexpensive to call Didi yourself. The service staff of the hotel are warm and sincere in their hospitality. They have not been tainted by business and are very satisfied. On the day I left the hotel, the hotel specially sent a dinner. It was very rich and served two people for four people. We would like to say a big thanks to all of the staff at the Tong Resort for our short but memorable stay. From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, Tong Resort gives everything you’d hope for. The hardware was all in good working order, the level of cleanliness was excellent and the service is on par or even better than international-level 5-star hotels such as The Ritz-Carlton. Quite outstanding! The hotel reached out to me prior to arrival day for check-in and special occasion arrangements. The hotel has a WeChat private service group where all of your requests can be disseminated at ease; with the nature of our trip being a birthday surprise celebration it was rather effective! The hotel offers private car pick-up service from Yangshuo Railway Station or you may also choose Didi. Upon arrival at Tong Resort, we were presented with welcome drinks, invited to be seated and were promptly escorted to our room. You can tell they have placed a lot of thought into the room features and design; they even embroidered the hotel logo into their bed linen. The hotel offers shuttle car services to and from West Street, this is one of the most famous global streets in China which is a must visit for all Yangshuo travelers. When we arrived back at the hotel, we were spoilt with free late night snacks sent to our room and most importantly the hotel did not forget about the birthday cake which was timely delivered at 00:00. The breakfast by the swimming pool was scrumptious. There is a choice between Asian and Western and you can select as many items as you wish from the menu which in turn gets freshly prepared for you. The team is doing such a good job; although the hotel has only been opened for 2 years, it seems as though the staff as been trained for over 10 years! What’s more, after check out whilst we were waiting at the lobby for Didi, a staff member had the attentiveness to place down glasses of water which she had no obligation for doing. What a nice gesture! At the end, essentially it’s these finer touches that sets a hotel from its counterparts.

Super location, superb staff (especially the front office, housekeeping and restaurant staff). Big shout out to Alice. Speaks English well and took care of our every need from picking us up to sending us off to our next destination (pro-tip: make all your bookings through her. She not only can make them for you but can also get you a good discount). Facilities were on point. Honourable mention goes to the laundry facilities. Not only a washing machine but a dryer as well (if only all hotels could provide the same).

100% recommend. Location is beautiful, next to a river with amazing views. Having a swimming pool and 24/6 coffee and tea was lovely and everything felt very homey. Everybody was so nice and interested in our plans for the day and asked us how it was afterwards. They even allowed us to enjoy the pool some days after we checked out. Also stayed in Yangshuo Mountain Lodge and preferred Apsara!

Yangshou Moondance Hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in so far. The service is great. They can help you in English if needed. There's a swimming pool, great food and beautiful scenery. You can rent a scooter for 60RMB at the hotel to go explore for the day. A lot of activities are close to the hotel for instance the water cave, paragliding some hikes. The hotel can help you to buy tickets for all the activities you feel like doing. I really enjoyed my stay and will recommend it to anyone.
