On the plus side, this hotel has a great location (near the river, near busses, near old town... Easy to walk everywhere); the rooftop patio and restaurant are great for hanging out on a rainy day; and it is very clean.
On the minus side, there was no airport pick up or drop off ( and it is a long way from the airport in Guilin - take the train from there); the front desk doesn't speak English and isn't helpful at all about arranging tours or setting up transportation; also, the street out front is very noisy (our room was on the front), so if you are looking for a quiet place with the sounds of nature, this isn't it (if you want to be right where the action is, this is the place for you).
