Yangshuo Yulong Zuo'an Hotel (Yulong River Shili Gallery Branch)

Hotel was in a great location, very helpful and friendly staff, delicious breakfast and cafe in the lobby! We were able to rent an e bike from the hotel for the day which was fun!

Lovely Hotel in the middle of Shili Gallery… the view is amazing and Yulong River is just in front of the hotel.. the staff are very friendly and the breakfast is limited but delicious specially the noodles, don’t expect to much food at least they have free breakfast and free fruits. Thank you ☺️

I couldn't have been happier with my stay. I've never been to Guanxi province before, but it surpassed all my expectations. The village itself is beautiful, and around 7km from Yangshuo, so it's not as busy as central locations but still plenty to see around the Yulong river. But most of all, the family and all the staff at this hotel were truly exceptional, and made me feel so welcome. The rooms are comfortable, extremely clean, and they service your rooms every day which means you always have a freshly made bed and water bottles. Breakfast was included and was wonderful and plentiful....porridge, watermelon, yams, boiled eggs served with red tea, and you could also order coffee. You can also get a big bowl of noodles, but after they realised as a foreigner, I don't really like to eat this kind of thing for breakfast, they simply adjusted to my tastes and gave more eggs and sweet potatoes the next day without me even needing to ask- fantastic service! I really enjoyed the company of the boss man, and I assume his wife. After watching snooker together the first evening, they invited me to eat dinner together the next night, along with the kitchen cook. It felt like a family meal, and I felt very welcome indeed. By the way, I walked between villages in my afternoons, which was great exercise and there's plenty of good routes for bicycling. 🚲 I am already looking forward to coming back 🏞

Positives: The location is excellent with beautiful views. The staff were very friendly, and the bathroom was spotless. Negatives: Unfortunately, the property doesn’t make the most of its great views—the windows and balcony were stained and dirty. The living area also had some visible roof damage, which didn’t look appealing. There were no tea bags provided, so I couldn’t even make a cup of tea when I wanted. For the price we paid, I don’t think it was worth it. The hotel next door looked much newer and better maintained. Overall, the views were great, but the stay itself was just average.

We had a fantastic stay. Service was incredible with the staff very welcome and helpful. The staff were also really good at helping me to develop my Chinese language skills and they also had facilities on site to support with any activities and scooter hire as well as a fridge with snacks to purchase. The room had amenities like tea, coffee and water which was replenished each day. Breakfast was incredible, a highlight of our stay The surrounding area was very walkable from the hotel, especially the moon mountain and famous 10 mile stretch. We had impressive views of the beautiful landscape from our room.

Beautiful location a five minute drive outside of Yangshuo. Room had an amazing view and was modern and clean! Staff was incredibly friendly and helped me book a river cruise at a great price! Breakfast was delicious. (Picture is view from the room)
