Julong Town Resort Hotel (Yulong River Store, Shili Gallery, Yangshuo)

Came to Yangshuo with my sister and stayed at a hotel near the Yulong River. The room was spacious and well-equipped, even had a washing machine. We could enjoy the mountain view right from our balcony, which was so relaxing. There's a restaurant on the ground floor that offers afternoon tea; their cakes were delicious, and the breakfast buffet had a great variety too. The hotel also has craft activities, and I made a painted fan. Outside, there's a beautiful swimming pool, and you can even walk to the lotus pond – the endless lotus flowers were truly stunning.

The Julong Xiaozhen Hotel truly redefines 'a room with a view'. The room is incredibly spacious, featuring massive panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. You can lie in bed and soak in the breathtaking karst peaks and the emerald waters of the Yulong River. In the mornings, mist swirls around the peaks, and in the evenings, the sunset glow paints the skyline – every photo you take looks like a masterpiece. The photogenic pool and lawn area feel like a luxury resort abroad. Sky Mirror: a must-visit on the top floor! It's truly stunning. In front of the hotel, there's also a 500-acre rice paddy boardwalk perfect for a stroll, and right now, the lotus flowers are blooming beautifully! You can also try your hand at intangible cultural heritage lacquer fan making, which the kids absolutely loved. Plus, there's even a late-night snack service available.

The room was super comfortable, complete with a small balcony, washing machine, and mini-fridge – truly five-star standard! They have an outdoor pool and a kids' play area. You can just lie back and enjoy the beautiful views outside. The location is also easy to find, convenient yet not noisy, making for a very pleasant stay. It's just a few minutes from Gongnong Bridge, and if you go out the back gate, there's a charming S-curve path with a pond full of river flowers that's perfect for photos. You absolutely *must* go to the Sky Mirror on the 5th floor for pictures; the hotel even offers travel photography services! The breakfast in the restaurant was abundant and delicious, and they even have late-night noodles. Plus, you can DIY painted fans and enjoy afternoon tea!

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was huge, with massive floor-to-ceiling windows, so I could enjoy the beautiful views right from my bed – it was truly stunning. On the top floor of Building B, there's a Sky Mirror photo spot, perfect for travel photography, and on a clear day, you can get amazing shots with blue skies and white clouds. The bed was incredibly soft, I slept so comfortably through the night. The amenities were comprehensive, and the front desk staff were wonderful – very friendly, enthusiastic, and always ready to help. The breakfast selection was extensive, and the Guilin rice noodles were delicious! They even offer afternoon tea and late-night noodles. The hotel's location is perfect, right in the Yulong River Scenic Area, making it very convenient for getting around and finding taxis.

Stayed in July, the room was very spacious, and we chose the family room. The service was excellent; they even offered complimentary noodles and congee in the evening. The rooftop 'Sky Mirror' was a major highlight and great for photos. You can also enjoy the sunset from the rooftop. The only minor downside was the presence of drain flies in the shower.

Five stars, highly recommend! This stay far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled within the Julong Town section of the Ten-Mile Gallery, surrounded by continuous karst peaks. The grounds are lush with greenery, and opening the floor-to-ceiling windows of my room offered stunning views of the mountains, rivers, and rural landscapes. In the mornings, a gentle mist hangs over the mountains, creating a truly soothing and healing natural ambiance. The guest room was spacious and clean, complete with a scenic bathtub and soft bedding. All the in-room facilities were well-maintained and looked brand new. The hotel amenities are excellent, with an elegant outdoor pool and a lovely lawn for relaxation. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and the afternoon tea was delicious. The staff provided attentive and thoughtful service; check-in was efficient, and they proactively offered information on local sightseeing routes. Getting around is very convenient; a short bike ride takes you to attractions like the Yulong River bamboo rafting pier and Gongnong Bridge. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place, perfect for a relaxing, slow-paced vacation.

The guest room features a huge floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the mountains. When I woke up in the morning, I saw the majestic mountain scenery enveloped in mist and clouds. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable to stay in. Even just lounging around in the hotel was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Sky Mirror on the 5th floor rooftop is an iconic photo spot; every shot turns out beautifully. The infinity pool on the first floor also provides great photo opportunities. The hotel also has a kids' amusement park, making it a relaxed and enjoyable option for families traveling with children. The hotel offers a wide variety of meals: a buffet breakfast, afternoon tea on the scenic terrace, and comforting late-night noodles. You can also experience hand-painting round fans DIY or stroll through the pastoral fields behind the hotel. I couldn't resist taking many photos to remember the experience!

The overall environment at Julong Hotel is tranquil and pleasant. The rooms feature huge floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking mountain views! There's also a clean and comfortable outdoor pool. My entire stay was really excellent. What's more, besides the essential breakfast, they even offer complimentary late-night noodles, which is a really thoughtful touch! 🍝
