Travelodge by Wyndham Yampa

Clean place and gentlemen who greeted us was super friendly and cooked us a great meal.

We stayed a total of 7 nights. The Staff at the front desk is also the Cook. They were very friendly and great cooks. However they are very short staffed. Twice our check in was delayed. Checkin is at 3pm but the first time we checked in we had to wait until 4pm. The second stay checkin was horrible. We arrived and checked in, went to our room and it was not cleaned at all! Beds were not made, trash was still everywhere and nothing was steralized! We went back down to the front desk and the person was very sorry and did what he could to help. There was no other rooms available so he called the house keeping manager, who was off that day. She arrived within 15 min and apologised. She called the housekeeper who had said she cleaned the room! She told her it was not cleaned and asked her to come help her. She also told her that several of the rooms that she had marked off as cleaned was not cleaned at all! The housekeeper refused to help the manager and hung up on her. At the same time another hotel guest came to the front desk and complained and stated his room also had not been cleaned and was not ready. He had a single room and they had another available for him. The manager then tried to call the employee back but she wouldnt answer. So the manager had to clean our room and she did a great job! However it was around 6pm before we had our room! So we actually missed out on our evening that we had planned. It completly messed our entire evening up because we were hunting.

Check in is at the diner & Jennifer was a delight. Our room was clean & the bed was pretty comfortable. The room did not have any cups, which was a bit inconvenient & it didn't have a coffee maker. we had dinner at the diner & it was really good & again Jennifer was a delight. Then we had breakfast & the woman who was at the diner was also very nice. The only negative is that the hotel could use some updates.

Just what I needed. No frills, just clean comfortable bed and bath. The ladies at the cafe work very hard to give they're customers exactly what they want. I've been coming to Yampa for over 20 years, minus COVID, but this is the first time I stayed at the hotel and it was worth it. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Peaceful and quiet, no stomping around, yelling, drunken brawlers, or kids running in the hall. I love this place! I' be back sometime on the summer. 😘

We like Yampa! We loved the people who helped us check in and cooked our food in the cute little diner. However, run down areas around the place. Trash cans overflowing, the entry from outside not work with passkey. People were propping the doors open. The ac/heater was noisy the rooms and halls very stuffy, carpets need shampooing.

This hotel stay was absolutely disgusting. My installer had a scorpion sting her face. I will never book here again

The room was clean and bed and bed linens clean and super comfortable. What was awkward was there was no one in charge of the building where we stayed. We checked in at the tavern/restaurant next door and my husband had to go back there to get us comfortable and settled in bed.

Security doors didn’t work to hotel. Trash was over flowing in hallway next to stairs room was not cleaned for next guest. Very disappointed in this property. Hotel stinks because trash has not been emptied in a while.

Stains on the sheet and damaged furniture, poor room service when we asked for new sheets, mostly used roll of toilet paper without spare roll
