Hotel Suimeikan

The room on the eighth floor was spacious and comfortable, and it even had a private hot spring bath. However, the mattress was a bit old and lacked support. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet-style; the food quality was average, and there wasn't a huge variety. Free parking was a plus.

This is a traditional Japanese ryokan with spacious rooms, each featuring a bathtub. In the lobby, there are yukata available for children of different sizes, for both boys and girls. There are also separate onsen baths for men and women, and a relaxation lounge. Both breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style; dinner includes Shinshu chicken hotpot, alcoholic beverages, and ice pops. The ryokan also offers karaoke, a game room, and table tennis facilities, making it ideal for family trips.

It's a bit old, but the food was excellent and the service was superb. Our car had a minor incident and we had to call the police, but the hotel owner was incredibly helpful. We'd definitely come back if we have the chance. Oh, and the hot springs were amazing! Our family had a wonderful time.
