This hotel is located right next to the ropeway to see the Snow Monsters, which is very convenient. You can easily walk to line up for tickets early in the morning. Another advantage is that the hotel provides some covered parking spaces, so you don’t have to clear snow off your car in the morning. Initially, I accidentally booked a room without dinner included. I tried emailing the hotel to request adding dinner, but unfortunately, I did not receive any response. The room has a private hot bath, but you need to fill it yourself with hot water. The room size is relatively small, and the condition feels quite old. Overall, compared to the very high room price, I don’t think it offers great value for money.

The location is super convenient, just a 2-minute walk from Zao Onsen Ropeway Station. There's a ski rental shop about a 1-minute walk away. You can store your ski equipment in a specific locker in your room on the ground floor, or use the password-locked lockers in the lobby. Zao Bus Terminal is about a 7-minute walk. They even offer a free ride back to Zao Bus Terminal when you check out. For dinner, there are six delicious and beautifully presented options to choose from. A Lawson convenience store is about a 5-minute walk for evening snacks. The onsen (hot spring) is a good size, not too big, not too small. And since there weren't many guests, it was a very pleasant experience.

If you’re paying almost $500 a night and the hotel doesn’t even have laundry facilities especially given the location with no public laundromats around then something is definitely wrong. Was also reminded multiple times that their breakfast closes at 9am when we came in just for a quick bite before checking out and acknowledged this when we first entered the restaurant (yes, we did leave before 9am). Would recommend you save the money and stay at the plenty of other alternatives along the same street. The location next to the ropeway is not worth the extra cost.

It’s an amazing place to stay, located right in front of the Zao Ropeway Sanroku Station. Rooms on the higher floors offer a beautiful view of the entire Zao Onsen village. I’d like to give a special shout-out to two of the kitchen staff who were incredibly helpful and had a great sense of humor — they truly made my stay a delightful experience.

The room wasn't very clean, but the dinner service was good. On the first day, the only dinner available was a pork hot pot set meal, which wasn't as good as the Wagyu beef set meal on the second day.

I liked everything except the price). The price is too high for such a small room compared to other options, but this is Dzao, unfortunately that's how it is here. The breakfast was great, and the gondola is across the street.

The environment is quiet and there are many shops nearby. The transportation is convenient and it is close to the train station. It is a ten-minute walk away. There is also a Leon store nearby. The hotel staff is very friendly and can store luggage.

Located in the Zao Onsen district, we were able to relax. We also had tickets to visit the hot springs, so we were able to relax in the hot springs. Dinner was also very delicious. I would like to go again if I have the opportunity.
