Spent one night in this hotel as I came to see the pandas. The nearest entrance of the panda parc to the hotel is located 400m which is very convenient. However, to buy the ticket (if not done online)- then you have to go to the tourist center which is located about 3.5kms from the hotel (you can use a free shuttle bus to reach there). The hotel owner helped me for the ticket and asked someone to purchase the ticket on my behalf - however, this ticket did not allow me to do all activities inside the park (not sure exactly the reason why). The hotel room was cleaned and the terrace really beautiful, and it would be definitely perfect for summer season. In winter, however it is really cold inside the room as there is no heater (still there is a heated blanket). So during this season, you need to bring warm clothes to face the cold! For one night this is still manageable as the water of the shower is on the other hand so nice and warm even burning… May be a suggestion I would make = it could be great if you could recommend taxi drivers to reach your hotel. I used Didi - but that was an error - the Didi driver lost himself inside the mountain (wondering if he did not do it on purpose) and demanded twice the price and was almost shouting the whole trip - I gave him what he wanted for peace of mind and close the topic (but the experience was not pleasant and even scary !) On the way back, thanks to the hotel owner recommendation, I did not get any issue as I took the bus from the tourist center to Ya’an bus station for 6 CNY (these buses are yellow color and the bus station is located after the curve of the tourist center). Great location, walkable to pandabase. Trip location is not correct. Use amap or the like to get here. Clean place, basic amenities but sufficient.

The hotel is located in a relatively remote area, making it quite quiet. Pros: The owner proactively helped with luggage. Cons: Room cleanliness was poor; the gray cushions had a greasy, unpleasant smell, as if they hadn't been washed in a long time; the upholstered areas and pillows on the bed were old and worn, not very clean; there was no bottled water or Wi-Fi in the room, and the Wi-Fi signal to other rooms was very weak; I arrived the night before and had dinner today, but the price of Ya fish was 188 yuan per jin (500g), which really shocked me… Is Ya fish supposed to prolong life or reverse aging? Prices are generally high due to its proximity to the scenic area. #Breakfast not included# Room facilities are very basic, typical homestay style# The bed is hard, and the bedding is not very clean; it is recommended to bring your own disposable four-piece bedding set.

1. The affordable Qingming accommodation is indeed booked on the spur of the moment, there is no price increase, and it is less than 200 per night. 2. Clean and hygienic. There is a panda doll in the room, which my daughter likes very much. 3. Close to the scenic area. It should be two or three kilometers away from the Bifengxia Scenic Area, anyway, it is very close. 4. The food is clean. The owner who checked in at around 9 pm still patiently prepared dinner for us. Breakfast was 10 yuan per person (there were porridge, steamed buns, eggs, and fried side dishes). My one and a half year old baby ate an egg and no steamed buns, and he didn't charge me for it. 5. The owner is super nice. I went there using the navigation of Mount Mengding. Because my phone was out of battery, I used the car navigation, but ended up going to the back mountain and taking the wrong road. After I called the owner to explain the situation, it was still raining at around 8 pm. He drove to the back mountain to find me and took me to the homestay. I wish the owner and his family a prosperous business!
